“The first time I visited here was about 2 years ago. Incredible BBQ and Pickles. The Management and Staff are incredible, the BBQ, delicious. I lived in Kansas City (BBQ Capitol of the World), and in Florida for years. This restaurant would still be great anywhere because they have mastered not only a great product, but the staff and management have also mastered incredible Customers Service. It's been rated the best BBQ in NJ for several years. I would argue one of the best BBQ restaurants in the USA.“

“I ordered catering for a birthday party for the first time from Jersey Joe’s, based on a recommendation of a friend of my sons who had food from them for a graduation party The food, the service and answering questions quickly made my party a success. The food was great, several of my guests asked where did I get the food from and wrote down their website. The Brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese were big hits!! And the ribs were spectacular.
I will definitely use their catering again for another party. Don’t doubt using them as their food was excellent and the delivery service was excellent as well. Thank you to Cindy for handling my catering order and answering my questions.

“Stopped by here on a whim on Mother's day and it was the perfect family friendly yet relaxing atmosphere we were looking for. Even for a busy holiday day, lets say we had to wait 40 min to get our food, 15 min to get drinks. But our young girls had plenty of fun people watching and romping around their open green space while they waited. I think we l lucked out on parking for sure and we were just a small party of 4 comfortable to picnic on the ground. If youre looking for a casual, lively environment where you can enjoy some good food and beers while your kids run around this is the spot for you!“

“My wife and I have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience until recently. The last two times we visited, the service and food quality were not the same. When I walked in and greeted the young gentleman at the counter, he didn’t respond — just gave me a sour look without saying a word. It left a bad impression.

Also, even though we picked up the food within 20 minutes like they said, it was cold and the fries were stale.

We’ve always enjoyed Estrela da Serra BBQ and hope this was just a rough patch. Hoping for a better experience next time.“

“This place is like home. It’s been around for so many years, grew up eating here. So hospitable. The chicken delicious and juicy and everything is made from scratch! The rice and beans yummy! Always on point and everything is ALWAYS consistent, taste and texture has never changed which I love! Because I know what I am expecting already.“

“Best BBq for your buck, seasoning is on point. Only only bad thing is if your dining in, since there is no ac you will be very uncomfortable and sweat while you eat which no one wants. Foods amazing, staff is great, just too hot to dine in the summer. In the spring, fall, and winter it's chill just don't recommend eating there in the summer. Please go thought and get take out.

Parking: There's only a few, about 4 spots to park around the restaurant, if those are taken which usually are you must park blocks down the road.“

“I am Portuguese and married to a Portuguese woman who can cook any gourmet meal to perfection. I can tell you we were both amazed at the delicious dinner we were served and the servants were on top of their job. I have found my go to spot for delicious food when I am in the area.“

“Visited this place for lunch a couple Saturdays ago and ordered their House Special Chaufa (Peruvian fried rice). I've been to many an Asian restaurant and tried many different fried rice dishes, but La Esquina's Chaufa stood out for sure. The South American flavors blended extremely well with the familiar elements of fried rice. Hot, mildly spicy, and goes great with the green sauce (salsa?) that came with a small curious dish of fried, chewy corn.

The price was a bit on the higher side, but the portion size and taste made it well worth it. I was also pleased with the speed and service from the friendly lady who took my order. Of course, it was quiet when I arrived (around 12:40 PM).“

“WOW! Not only a great price for the huge amount of food but outstanding taste. I got the chicken and ribs with rice and black beans. I did get a side of piri piri(was amazing)to add some heat. The char and seasoning was spot on. Chicken fall off the bone. Ribs perfect for this style of cooking and hard to find where I live. Very well done. Do wish they had Pão de Bico or if they do as an option on grubhub. Wish I lived here as this would be a regular Togo spot.“

“BB.Q is really some of the best fried chicken you can get. Consistency is the word. Every time you go it's the same experience.

Chicken survives the 15 minute ride home perfectly. Fries not so much because of the bag they're packed in, but the chicken is the star.

There's not a flavor they sell that isn't a banger. Spicy original, honey garlic, secret spicy are among my favorites.“
