“The first time I visited here was about 2 years ago. Incredible BBQ and Pickles. The Management and Staff are incredible, the BBQ, delicious. I lived in Kansas City (BBQ Capitol of the World), and in Florida for years. This restaurant would still be great anywhere because they have mastered not only a great product, but the staff and management have also mastered incredible Customers Service. It's been rated the best BBQ in NJ for several years. I would argue one of the best BBQ restaurants in the USA.“

“I tried it for the first time today, and it was excellent. I got the extra spicy BBQ wings and the brisket with mac and cheese and candied yams. The wings had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, the brisket was super juicy, and the sides were perfectly done. I ordered takeout and, even after an 8-minute drive home, everything was still piping hot. I’ll definitely be back and hope they don’t change a thing.“

“Was here in on a mini vacation and was recommended to this place . As I woman that works in the food industry this pace was really good !!! They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! Staff was friendly . And it’s a byob which makes it great as I’m on a budget with travel . Thank you guys !!!“

“Jersey Joe’s is truly the best. They catered a large bbq I hosted this summer and did a phenomenal job, I’m still getting compliments on the food even now. This was the first large event I was hosting at my new house, and I was worried I bit off more than I could chew, but jersey Joe’s made everything so much easier for me. I didn’t have to worry at all, they took care of set up and clean up, they packed up all the extra food and even put it in my fridge for me, and all my guests raved about how kind all the workers were. I’d give them 12/10 stars!“

“Just tried this place and WOW ! The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken had the perfect amount of kick and flavor, and the pork was seasoned to perfection. And let me tell you… the Curried Beef Lumpia and the fresh fruit juices was to die for.

On top of that, the service was amazing. The owner is so warm and kind, which really made the whole experience even better.

The only downside is that it was pretty cold inside there’s a noticeable draft. If they can fix that and make it warmer, it would be the perfect place to sit and really enjoy your meal comfortably.

A great option for family meals, when unable or unwilling to cook at home. 😁 Good sized portions. I had the Chicken in Garlic Sauce with rice and beans. My friend has the BBQ Ribs and Chicken with Rice, Cabbage and Boiled Potatoes. This spot has been added to my weekly meal rotation.“

“I found this lovely gem while we were thrift shopping, looking for somewhere to eat. The menu alone drew us in, and the beer garden was a plus. I had the fish and chip omg the tarter sauce is home made and I made sure I use every drop lol.. the staff is professional, kind, and hard workers each table is turn over and read to serve the next group. I travel 30 min and it's worth it. If you come across this place take the drive and bring some friends. So you can try different dishes. The beer menu is any beer drinkers dream.“

“My wife and I have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience until recently. The last two times we visited, the service and food quality were not the same. When I walked in and greeted the young gentleman at the counter, he didn’t respond — just gave me a sour look without saying a word. It left a bad impression.

Also, even though we picked up the food within 20 minutes like they said, it was cold and the fries were stale.

We’ve always enjoyed Estrela da Serra BBQ and hope this was just a rough patch. Hoping for a better experience next time.“

Food is always delicious and fresh, and prices are remain incredible. Hope they don’t raise the prices because they will always be our go to for comfort food! “WOW! Not only a great price for the huge amount of food but outstanding taste. I got the chicken and ribs with rice and black beans. I did get a side of piri piri(was amazing)to add some heat. The char and seasoning was spot on. Chicken fall off the bone. Ribs perfect for this style of cooking and hard to find where I live. Very well done. Do wish they had Pão de Bico or if they do as an option on grubhub. Wish I lived here as this would be a regular Togo spot.“

“I like how the restaurant is decorated with a Western theme and that they play Country music. The food and the service is overall very good. They are usually very quick and friendly. Sometimes if you order an additional item with your main course there may be an extra wait for it. They once forgot to give me the mushrooms that I ordered and I didn't notice it until I got home. But when I called the manager kindly sent me a $10. gift card. I especially like their wildest shrimp, chicken wings and their corn. Their prices are very reasonable as well and their portions are pretty good.

Make sure you check your napkins and flatware. I was once given a set that had hair on the napkin.“
