“My family and I were big fans of this restaurant but today’s meal for some of us was somewhat disappointing. I was also surprised how high the prices have gotten on many of the more simple fare dishes - especially for Sunday lunch. Like $22 for a grilled chicken sandwich and almost $40 for crab cakes. We usually dine at similar restaurants but prices here seemed higher than average while dining in a tent with exposed plywood. Many times we had to search for a server and the apple cobbler in a nutshell - was terrible. It was like eating an undercooked mouthful of raw batter with cooked apples. Honestly- the house has some work to do if they want to charge these prices . I mean, I have had wonderful experiences here before, but today missed the mark.“

“Burrata, rice balls, gnocchi, stuffed chicken over wild rice, veal chops with spinach and risotto. Apple crisp and berry pie. All of it was better than I thought it would be, all on point and delicious. No picks of the burrata it didn't last long enough. The quality was excellent, but I wish it came with some greens. I should have been coming here all this time.“

We didn't even have a reservation, on a somewhat busy Friday night, but they were able to accommodate us for a last-minute table for two. One of the Managers, if not, the Manager, by the name of Charlotte, was extraordinarily delightful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating! And our server, Bailey, was every bit helpful, patient, sweet, attentive, and she was even kind enough to give us a couple of great recommendations off of their menu. “If you are an espresso martini lover like myself, you can't miss Stirling Tavern. I can't even count how many espresso martinis I have gotten here over the past couple of years I've visited the adorable Morristown. The bartenders are very consistent with the drink making and I have never had a bad drink here. The ambience in the bar area is very sophisticated and the seating in the front of the bar is the perfect spot. I've also tried some small plates too like the burger bites which I would like to be snacking on right now. The little sliders have goat cheese for a unique twist and really delicious sweet potato fries on the side. I've had both flatbreads too which are a good starter to share with friends and family.“

“I have a rare food allergy which can often be challenging to accommodate. I was beyond please when the server had the chef come out and the chef told me I could have anything I wanted customized so it would be safe for me to eat. My dish was absolutely amazing and I even had the manage come and check on me as well to make sure my allergy was taken care of. I will definitely be dining again“

“It was a Thursday evening and we sat in the bar. We ordered off of the Chefs Tasting menu. We both ordered a salad and had the salmon entree which was deliciously perfect. Looks old in and out of it while the restaurant extends to the basement as well. nice food, well priced, good variety, atmosphere is amazing, staff is friendly CONS: Parking is extremely scarce as their lot is only 6 spacious. You must also make a reservation for dinner otherwise you're gambling to get a table OVERALL: You must come here if you're in the area. This is THE place to come to, to eat!“

“I was there yesterday after an hiking in the area with a friend. I like to visit small businesses and this was a good one. The place is cool, not high class fancy restaurant but cozy and somehow it speaks about tradition and history itself. The owner took care of the order and brought us the food, small talk but good service. We 2 had draft beers, 2 delicious cups of butternut squash soup, 2 burgers that were great and we shared the waffle Fries as side. We paid just $35 and we got out from there happy. I suggest you this place for a casual cozy lunch. Help small business. I will go back.“

“This is always, always my go to place for a great craft draft. In the midst of the Heineken and Sam Adams they have never disappointed to have a hidden gem of a beer available. Every few weeks they cycle through a different great beer. The service is super friendly and welcoming, and a chill dive atmosphere with the rest of the patrons is tye vibe here. Def get the tots!!!! “My husband and I celebrated our daughters baptism at Angelina’s and I couldn’t thank them enough for accommodating a big group of family! The Italian food was so great, the staff was exceptional and very understanding due to (some of our family coming in late to the restaurant). “Visited TOG to see the band Cold Hill (who were EXCELLENT). This is a smaller Irish bar/pub with a wonderful relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Bar tenders were great, friendly and pleasant. The bar is divided down the center, bar and open area, by a half wall with large opening so you are able to enjoy the band while at the bar or stand/sit in the open area. Music wasn't too loud, still able to talk with friends. Prices were good and I would really love to visit this place again ☘️Parking: We used public parking down behind the Morristown Diner. Just a couple of mins walk to TOG.“

The bar has high tops and booths. It can get busy to very crowded around 5 to 7 with golfers and corporate folks. You can eat at the bar if you prefer. “Whenever I go down to the Bridgewater/Somerville area I always see this restaurant in the skyline and decided I had to try it at least once. For drinks, I got the Long Island Iced Tea and my wife got the Rose Sangria, which were both quite good. When deciding on appetizers, I had heard their Cornbread was fantastic, so of course our group had to get it and I have to say, the other reviewers were on-point with this recommendation. Served hot and very fluffy - we really enjoyed this and I would highly recommend getting. Nice huge portion size too and great for sharing. We tried a variety of different entrees though most of our group stuck to sandwich and burger items. None of it was bad but nothing really stood out either. Probably if I were come again I would try something different. Service was great too, our waitress was very polite and patient. Overall, while I don't disagree with the other reviewers that the place is pricy, I would probably still come back if I was in the area.“

“Came here with a group of 6 girlfriends. It was a bit early so we were seated right away. Let begin to say this is the first time at a Mexican restaurant with a HUGE array of menu options! We were greeted by our server Abel he was fantastic! We all started with a flight of margaritas which were tasty but had no alcohol in them we even mentioned it to the server. He did not bring out extra tequila or anything. The flight cost us $30 each for juice, that is the reason I took 1 star off!! We all shared two orders of guac... really good. Most of us had the mixed fajitas, my other 2 friends had the enchiladas and the sirloin steak and shrimp on a stone. Our food was great, good flavor and portions. At the end, we all were given a shot of tequila, even that shot felt watered down! I would come back here for the food, they definitely need to work on their drinks! If they start to get the drinks right this place would be out of this world!“

“My boyfriend and I have been to many restaurants in Morristown, but Orale is definitely our new favorite. With dinner we tried the Blood Orange Margarita, and the Cosmopolitan, both drinks we highly recommend. We started with the Pork Belly Guacamole, Pulpo, and Flautas de Pollo. All were truly amazing and exciting. As mains, we had the wood grilled carne asada and the Ribeye Plancha. The meat in both dishes was so tender and perfectly buttery. Lastly for dessert we shared the Flan, Tres Leches and an espresso martini. The flan is the true highlight of the night. It is truly so delicate and delicious. It is a MUST TRY. Fausto was our server and was super attentive, kind and very welcoming We genuinely could not love and recommend this restaurant more. Incredible and absolutely one of the best restaurant in the Morristown area.“

“We called ahead to reserve a table of 10 with a person with a wheel chair. The table was very narrow and seating was very close, but we managed to sqeeze in. I enjoyed the deviled egg appetizer that was sprinkled with bacon bits. The popcorn shrimp was not the small sized ones that were expected. Only 4 large shrimp came to an order so we had to order 2. The fried okra and potato skins were enjoyed too. Our guests loved their burgers, pulled pork, chipped beef and salmon salad. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed in my dry herb chicken breast and overly charred grilled vegetables. Service was excellent. The place was very busy on a Wednesday night. It is bright and tight (with spacing of tables). There is no dedicated lot, so you have to find parking on the nearby streets.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an alleyway to the right of the restaurant with a side door that is good. We managed to enter through the front, but it was a tight sqeeze making it through to the room where our table was set up.“
