“Traveled from TX knowing my husband and I had to try this legendary place!
Ordered a philly, but it was the huge one you find youtube reviews on. It had pastrami, mushroom, cheese, onions, and brisket on a warm toasted loaf. Sandwich was huge! Split it with my husband and we didnt even finish half of our half.
Cant wait to go back and try more the next time I'm in NJ.
Service was great and the deli took you back in time. Only regret is that I didn't order a dessert to go.“

“place an order by phone walk 4 block to store to find out it the wrong location never look ang the menu to found out they have 2 locations on the menu top has Washington square a well as spruce street location. I ask instead Chix breast can I have Chix salad the e women on the phone said no problem. when I when to the store the owner said there was a charge for Chix salad $4.00 more than I said give the Chix breast, so she did. I said to her I am doing a review on the store. walk out of the store the owner coming running down the street after me apologize for the miss understanding and refund me my money back. thank you for fix the problem“

“Update: I came back a second time and got one of their Aracini balls with eggplant. All I can say is WOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!! It was to die for. Literally so amazing with the homemade tomato sauce they give you on the side. I heated it up in the air fryer when I got home and it was perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. I am gonna be craving it like no other until I can get my hands on one again. I still gotta come back for the chicken meatballs!!!!
Original: I saw this place on instagram reel's and after 5 years of living in Philly I wish I would've found it sooner. I saw a video about their Reaper sandwich which comes with longhot mayo, chicken cutlet, hot soppressata, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I have been dying to try and it did not disappoint. I had to get it without the soppressata because I don't eat pork. This sandwich was one of the best I've ever had in my life and not to mention it was ginormous. It wasn't very spicy at all but I do have a high spice tolerance so that could be part of the problem on top of not including the hot soppressata. The bread was absolutely fantastic and the chicken cutlet was perfect. I know for sure I will be back again in the future. I saw on instagram they also sell chicken longhot meatballs that I want to try soooo badly. On top of my great sandwich, the staff was also very welcoming and friendly.“

“Everything I’ve gotten there has been delicious. My favorite is chicken cutlet with long hots and sharpe provolone on a seeded roll, which isn’t on the menu but they will make for you. Also the breakfast sandwiches are the best around, nobody comes close.“

“Staff was great; kind and thoughtful. Place was kind of messy but not dirty, they just sell a lot of stuff and theres no where for them to store the excess, no fault of their own. If I lived closer this would be my go to deli. The meat was freshly sliced, the prices were reasonable, and theres a park across the street to eat and watch life go by. Nice selection on the menu including falafel.“

“I stopped in the evening of this review (4/15/26) for a quick bite to eat. I ordered a pizza steak with provolone cheese, a side of waffle fries and got a bottle of lemonade all for under$20.00. The steak, cheese and sauce were mixed together perfectly for my sandwich, the fries had a really good crunch to them as well. Everything came out hot and in only a few minutes as they weren't busy. I would definitely recommend Frank's to others and I will also order from them again.“

“I just ordered from Shamrock Deli. I ordered the cornbeef special. the sandwich was by far the BEST deli sandwich I have had in years!!!! The cornbeef was amazingly fresh and lean. I never even knew about this place until I saw it on Grubhub. thanks to Grubhub I have found the best Deli in South Jersey!!!! I highly recommend this place. A++++“

“A wonderful array of good food. My cheese steak was great; juicy meat on a warm roll, covered in cheese with just enough fried onions!
Very economical, too with a price point that beat out the other shops in town!
My small negative critique is that the place needs a good scrubbing! That can easily turn a 4 star review into a 5 star!
I also imagine the continual use of cell phones takes away from the professionalism of what could have been a 5 star across the board.“

“I recently bought a hoagie from Tony’s Hoagies at 2nd and Porter because a friend of mine used to bring them meetings not to far away.She said she couldn’t get to Rocco’s so she went to Tony’s. I told her about Jeannie’s. Tony’s were pretty good I was pretty hungry which helped. When I was eating the Hoagie I couldn’t help thinking I wish I had a Jeannie’s Hoagie plus I get to talk to Jimmy McAllister who owns it while his son Steve makes it. I know a lot of the regulars so I get to catch up on some of the news in S Philly. And Jimmy is one of funniest people on the planet. I don’t know why but his Liverwurst is the best I ever had and I lived in NYC. In the mornings I often would get a BLT also outstanding and the prices you have to ask twice because they are so cheap., 7 out of 10 times I will get a coffee and sometimes to go and eat the sandwich and drink the coffee in Marconi Park a mere 10 minute walk. This Joint is a WINNER“

When looking for a great tasting cheese steak sandwich with onions including fried sweet and hot peppers ; Mikes Coldcuts definitely has the answer. It not only taste Great it is reasonably priced. I will admit that you need to buy 2 to satisfy the desire but paying $12.00 for the 2 is affordable and well Worth your money spent. I buy at least 5 or 6 at a time because I drive 30 min to get them. The next day open and pop them in the oven adding more ketchup and there it is this time on a crunchy roll. Totally Awesome! Yes, this is in the apartment development and is open to the public. Make sure to park in one of the 5-6 spaces marked reserved for riverfront supermarket. It has its own entrance, so you dont need to go into the apartment building to shop here.“
