“We walked in and saw all the ingredients you could need to make your favorite Filipino dishes. Although they did not have any Pre-made lumpia we opted to get take out and it was 5 pieces for $2. I needed Chinese Sausage for my pancit and the lady at the register was nice and friendly and reccomended the sweet Chinese Sausage in their freezer section. I promise to update my review once I cook everything. :) Thank you so much for being available because this Filipina Girl misses home!“

Then on the side, of course they have fries but the salads they provided were also a timeless palate refresher between burger bites. “Had the vegetarian calabacitas with a side of the consommé and it was amazing. It was like a beef stew in taco form. 🤤 and the abuelita’s Jamaica was perfectly paired.

Also the chips and salsa are perfectly done.

The staff was super nice too, being really patient with me while I was ordering, too.

What I like most is that it is always consistent and the portions are sizable. The crab fried rice is my favorite item on their menu but everything I’ve tried has been amazing. The wings are crispy and well seasoned, the salads are refreshing and feeling, the mango sticky rice is the perfect balance of sweet and savory…I’ve tried other dishes as well, just too many to list haha! In addition to the food, the service is great. The staff is always so friendly, they play apart in how frequently I eat there as well. “Checked out The Victor Cafe founded in 1918, a little gem of an Italian restaurant in South Philly. All staff are also opera singers and perform an aria every 30 minutes. Also, this place was featured in Rocky Balboa and Creed as Adian's Restaurant. This place is definitely worth a visit. Recommend having a reservation.“

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.
