“We walked in and saw all the ingredients you could need to make your favorite Filipino dishes. Although they did not have any Pre-made lumpia we opted to get take out and it was 5 pieces for $2. I needed Chinese Sausage for my pancit and the lady at the register was nice and friendly and reccomended the sweet Chinese Sausage in their freezer section. I promise to update my review once I cook everything. :) Thank you so much for being available because this Filipina Girl misses home!“

“I had the chicken pad Thai , it was delicious! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was I needed a little spice and it was mild .. I ordered it mild to medium… but it was delicious! Def gonna go back with my friends over the holidays to try something else .. the gentleman at the front when I picked up was very pleasant.. I love that in the bag of condiments was Chinese tea! “Walking into a small dimly lit dining room with around 10 tables all conversing in their own way givea you that hygge feeling that an intimate dinner with friends is the forte here. One server seemed elegantly handle all tables and greeted us upon entering.

Mabu is a great BYOB option with fresh influence, we enjoyed the beet citrus salad and brussel sprouts, both bursting with flavor. We also enjoyed the beef bougionion which was a heavy flavorful dish great for a cold evening. Portions were great. Service and food were both punctual. Would be back for sure, perhaps if they could add a few more veg options is my only critique. Highly recommend!“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“Definitely the best Pho joint in Philly. This is one of the Pho 75 mini-chain restaurants starting in DC & Northern VA area (7 corners). Solid broth, chewy noodles and loads of different cut of meats. Add-on prices are also reasonable ($2.5 for meatballs as an example). Service is just meh... but you don't come here for service....“

Our dinner was a creative journey that the chef took us on. We had the Sunday prefixed 4 course dinner in which each course was a delicate and flavorful experience. Nalini our waitress was a pure joy- knowledgeable, funny, attentive without interfering with our experience. She described each course like she was describing a work of art.
