“small ramen with big flavors. I enjoyed everything from the chill atmosphere to amazing food. the blend of Peruvian cuisine with traditional Japanese dishes is a match made in foodie heaven. I had the double fried wings and sloppy joe bao bun for a starter and each dish was better than the last. the wings were super crispy yet tender inside and the sloppy joe bao buns were a trip down memory lane. the sloppy brought me back to my childhood eating at a friend's house. for my ramen I had the tonkatu. their pork broth was hearty and tasteful and reminded me of my first bowl of real ramen. I highly recommend going there and finding out on your own...“

“Our first time as we are visiting from out of town. Our server Cesar was so wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was phenomenal. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and had a charbroiled taste which we loved. We also had the Bavarian pretzels app special which was awesome!!!! Our drinks were also fantastic. This was a great choice for our 10th wedding anniversary. We’re so glad we found it. Highly recommend!!!!!!“

The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, with the fish tasting as if it was just caught.
The service was excellent attentive and friendly, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
The highlight of the evening, though, was the mango panna cotta. It was the perfect way to end a delightful dinner—refreshing, smooth, and bursting with flavor. I cannot wait to return! Highly recommended!“

“Nice mom and pop pizzeria, and the best part it’s not far my house. First time here so I order the plane pie to go and I can say this I’m not disappointed. The pie was well made and you can tell he use high quality ingredients. Ben was super nice and he treats you like family. So if in the area check this place out.“

Even better, the beans come from a local roaster, so they’re super fresh. I picked up an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and another bag specifically for espresso. “My initial review was 5 stars, and while the food is still delicious with great flavor, their portions have decreased. Their loaded nachos were the best, use to fill the container to the top. Now, it’s half the portion with barely any ground beef. Their Tacos Dorados platter with rice and beans only comes with 3 tacos, not 5 tacos as depicted in the menu’s photo, which is a bit misleading. I really love their food though, I guess my only complaint is I’m not getting enough of it 🥹 I understand the current inflation requires our favorite restaurants to increase prices, I hope they don’t ever compromise quality and portion.“

“I used to go to this spot on Bloomfield Ave a few years back, but one of the owners (Tommy, i seem to remember) would get a little too animated and become obnoxious towards the customers.

I figured I'd give it another chance and drop by to check it out. It was much more chill. The food was standard bar food, and the beers were relatively inexpensive. The girls behind the bar were cute and attentive. They have a DJ on the weekends, and he plays the classics from back in the day.

Overall, it was a much better experience for me, at least.“

“My husband I went in to eat. Yes, it was busy. Our initial greeter seated us. We placed our drink and food orders and received our drinks. We received our drinks after 5 minutes of arrival. Unfortunately, we waited for another 30+ minutes only for our server to say "1 minute please". Needless to say, if we were served, this poor review would not have been necessary. I paid for our drinks and left disappointed and hungry. I have drinks at home, what we needed was to be fed and given service...shameful“

“We’ve been to the other location, but this was our first time at the Bloomfield Ave restaurant. There is only seating at the counter, so I guess it’s meant to be pickup primarily, but the food was quick and delicious and the young woman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I had the steak fajitas and my son grabbed some “Dirty Nachos”. Great experience. Will definitely go back to explore the menu further.“

“I felt compelled to leave a review after having their pork fried rice, possibly the best I've ever had. It is full of that delicious smokey wok hei flavor that we all love in Chinese take out. The amount of pork in my rice really caught my eye too, there is a lot in there. I would absolutely get food from here again“
