Minus a star for the following:
Not enough sauce on the chicken. Need about twice as much as we got to make me happy.
Fries were $6. The portion is way too small to cost that much.
The chicken is also a bit too expensive for the portion size.“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“Popped in for a late lunch on New Year's Day and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food! Firstly, don't judge the size of the venue because the menu is seven pages!! So many choices!! I had the most tasty, smooth and crunchy, sushi pizza!! I paired it with a healthy seaweed salad. “I came to the restaurant in the hope of getting a plate of sashimi. However, the menu did not have it available except for a small couple of pieces portion or a la carte. So I had a sushi roll version made up for me with cucumber. Because it's not a traditional Japanese sushi sashimi place with many fresh fish options, I only had the basic fish options like tuna, salmon and yellowtail. In terms of freshness, it was good. I'm sure the regular sushi rolls are fine but I didn't try any since my heart was set on sashimi. They tried the best they could to accommodate me.“

“I’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened. The service and food has always been fantastic. It’s one of the places that I’ve brought my family to. The consistency of this place has held strong all these years.I’ve been to tons of sushi restaurants and this one truly has the best spicy fish rolls. The sauce in other places can be too sweet and they don’t cut up the fish nicely. Raku does it perfectly and they add in some crunch. However, I would recommend any dish from this place because everything I’ve tried has been good.“

“Awesome deal for AYCE. This is the place that you come for a lot of quantity and not so much the quality. I feel like people expect a lot from this place which is just not possible when is all you can eat. Think about the cost they have to cover. They have a pretty decent menu selection or hot and cold items of different rolls, sashimi, nigeri, etc. I thought the sushi rolls were ok but the rice should be a bit chewier. It was a bit too watery and soft for me. Really liked their fried items and the teriyaki fish they have.

Service was decent. The atmosphere was a bit too dark and stuffy for me. Would be nice to have some windows.
