“Amazing. I mean just wow. I got a french toast bagel with Oreo cream cheese and it blew me away. They had cookies and cakes as well which I almost got but I changed my mind. I wish I was local, so I could go back and try those as well. Drink and food prices are reasonable, and for the quality it is 100% a no brainer. If you want some breakfast in the area, this spot is an excellent choice. You will not be disappointed“

“I moved from The Bronx to New Jersey four years ago I go to the gym across the street LA fitness .I came here one day and never looked back . They are truly amazing. !!!!!!Their customer service is outrageous. They greet you like your family, They are absolutely Amazing. The bagels are GREAT, Apple turnovers even better , their homemade oatmeal cookies nice and crunchy are perfect but most of all the avocado every time I ask for a sandwich it's ALWAYS ready to eat.“

We enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant as well as plain bagels with cream cheese. The coffee was also nothing to scoff at either. What really stood out during my visit was the service. Wael, the gentleman working the front counter, was exceptionally polite, attentive, and patient. His attention to detail and willingness to listen closely to my order, especially as someone who likes to customize their breakfast sandwiches, this was refreshing. In many bagel spots, staff can seem rushed or distracted, but Wael made the experience easy.

Whether you're a classic bacon-egg-and-cheese kind of person or someone who likes to get a little creative with your sandwich, Bagel 1 delivers quality without the chaos. The spot is low-key, but the flavor is next level.

Not only did I receive a fantastic bacon egg & cheese but the gentleman behind the counter separates this place from others. “I always had Dunellen Bagel when I lived there and it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had. I moved and bagels aren’t the same here so everytime I visit Jersey I have to go to Dunellen Bagel and I have my husband addicted too. He’s never tasted a bagel like this and he was amazed. So we bring bagels back home in our carry-on and freeze them at home. I would 100% definitely recommend this place!“

“Not a bad bagel place for those who are in the area, solid pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich. They have good cream cheese choices too. Overall not the best bang for buck bagel store though. They have a $1 card charge though so bring cash.“

“Very small bagel store, no frill interior. I believe they have a couple small tables at most and a wall hung flat panel. Tables may have been removed during peak COVID. Parking is pretty decent, I can typically get a parking spot without issue. Some bagel varieties do run out quite early in the morning. Typically everything bagel, salt, egg, wheat, blueberry are available later in the day. I do feel these bagels are some of the best in the immediate area, not bready, with enough chewy and crispy parts and moist. They have basic variety of bagel flavor selection but not a huge variety. Bagels have always been spot on consistent. Friendly staff and typically quick service.“

It looks like some reviewers have complained about the staff, but the staff always welcome us when we walk in the door, they are kind, friendly and joke around with us. You cant ask for better! The coffee is great! Tasty and fresh, I love some of the flavored beans, but they don't always have every flavor available. Chicken salad and tuna salad and other lunch options are also very tasty.“

“Really enjoy Lil Pickles for a quick bite to eat. Conveniently located not far from I-78, the place has a nice local favorites feel to it.
