“Took out for lunch last Saturday. Though I had to wait 20 minutes for them to make it, the wait was more than worth it! I had a seafood chaufa (Peruvian fried rice) that was chock full of almost every shellfish under the sea! Squid, shrimp, mussels, crab, and even octopus! And the portion size was very generous! It includes optional salsas on the side for a little more spice. Best $26 I've ever spent!“

“A hidden gem tucked away right by the Dunellen train station. I came by and ordered a plate of guisado de carne. The food tasted just like a homemade meal and the service was top notch. The hostess even put on the champions league game for me on the TV. Can’t recommend this place enough“

“The place is fairly small but not tiny. This seems very authentic, low key but good Peruvian food. I got Lomo Saltado and it was very tasty. I would def come back and try other dishes. Saw some Latino couple getting grilled chicken which looked delicious. Give it a shot, I might come back with 5 stars if next meal is just as good.“

I ordered prepared meats for a family event for 15 people or more to make tacos at home and it was all very delicious and at a reasonable price! Time I was here 3/4 years ago. So possibly new ownership. Waspleasantly surprised from how busy it was inside to the large portion sizes to the quality and taste of the food. For those looking for a taste of Peru. This is the place to go.

I got the Mussels and postponed (fried plantains) with the picante sauce, eve. Reasonably priced as well. Definitely will be back when in the area.“
