“Went to Fresh Tiki Bar in Somerville for ice cream and wow, did not disappoint. It’s rich and creamy, you can just tell it’s made with good ingredients, not the cheap stuff. Not overly sweet either, which I loved. The tropical flavors were a fun twist, definitely not your average ice cream shop. Portions were generous too, no complaints there. Staff was super friendly and fast. Great little spot for a hot day, already thinking about my next visit. If you’re around Somerville and want something sweet, this is the move.“

The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

“Went to Flounder Brewing Co. on April 17 for a live show and was genuinely blown away. The venue strikes a perfect balance between intimate and energetic. You are close enough to really feel the music, but there’s still plenty of room to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the whole place had a welcoming, unpretentious vibe that made it easy to settle in. Of course, the beer lineup didn’t disappoint either, solid variety and quality across the board.

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“Great coffee shop! Everything is organic in the shop. Love their cold brew Shandy, which you can customize with their various organic syrups throughout the entire year. Also their bacon breakfast sandwich and large crumble cookies (they have four or five different kinds) are to die for. And their organic lemonade is also awesome! And the barista’s know their stuff. I also like their grab and go organic sandwiches.“

Sea bass in tomato broth with potatoes & Aegean shrimp dish were perfectly prepared. We had to have the baklava with vanilla ice cream (no pic as we attacked it!). “Carlos pizza is amazing, our absolute favorite pizzeria. We've been getting them for over 8 years. Recently I my food allergy escalated to the point where any exposure to it sends me to the ER. With that said, i haven't been able to order take out as its a major risk. I took a chance and requested them to exclude these ingredients from the pizza and to avoid cross contamination. They went the extra mile and made a safe pizza!! When you're not able to order pizza for months, this means the world lol. BIG THANKS TO CARLOS!! You rock! ❤️“

Not only was my sloppy joe the best ive ever had because the turkey and roast beef were fresh and delicious the bread was the best and the fries and coffee were great as well . “Luna Rossa is an exceptional restaurant which is run by a loyal and dedicated team under the direction of Adrian. Our first time visiting this establishment was with a party of 10. Adrian took all of our orders including appetizers without writing anything down. The food was delivered to perfection. I am astounded by the diversity of the menu, the ability to switch out sides, the quality and taste of the food. The chefs are talented and cook to delight every palate. We definitely found our new spot here at the Thee Ice Cream Parlor for ice cream birthday cakes. They were ready promptly for pick up on Father's Day when they opened with a long line and one employee working. Not only that but also dietary restrictions of no dairy for the one cake were followed so the birthday girl could enjoy her cake as well! “Stopped in by accident and discovered a goldmine. Driving home to Connecticut, I exited 287 to take a break from rush hour. Nothing like a Buffalo pizza to calm the nerves. I was greeted by a friendly host. I requested a seat at a high top in the bar area , so I could people watch and glance at the game on one of the many tvs. I had a great server , his name was Todd. He explained the menu and walked me through the various pizza selections. He not only knew the menu , he was excited discussing the food. I ordered a Buffalo Pie, it was unbelievable. I wish I saved room for dessert , because the choices seemed so delicious. Next time I’m going through town I will definitely come back“
