“I REALLY want to give this place a 5. The ambience, decor, vibes, workers, etc are all so wonderful. They have a shelf of free needs. They have awesome movies playing, tons of board games, and a million other cool things..In general, I love everything about this place...except the food - this does not count the bakery stuff, which are all yummy and scrumptious.

I've been there 3 times now, though, and the food has ranged from mid to miss, which is really unfortunate. There's just too many elite vegan places around the area as well, so I generally don't choose this place as a 1st option.

So, I'd say if you're looking for a treat and some coffee and a place to hang, this place is unbeatable. If you're looking for a vegan meal up to par with this area, I can't honestly reccomend it.“

“Went there today with my daughter and friend best sandwiches We have ever had in a long time. We had the Grilled Reuben, Buffalo Chicken sandwich, Fried Buttermilk chicken sandwich and the burger. Everything was delicious. The kids had the chicken sandwich and burger and they raved about the bun which was awesome. The homemade macaroni salad was also a big hit. Hands down to owner Rob and manager Raul their hospitality was top notch. Definitely will go back and this time bringing the entire family. “In town visiting my wife's home for a week and this was our 2nd stop here at E Street Bagels. What can I say, this place was BANGIN!!!! Best pork roll in town and we had 2 others so this place sets the standard. Staff was polite, we ate inside, they talked to us for 30 minutes and we shared some stories. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HERE. The Slammer was on point, great hashbrowns and a crisp pork roll done right.

“Alli and the Colonial Bakery team are ahhhhmazing! I cannot thank them enough. I have searched everywhere for a traditional NJ hard roll with poppy seeds and get a bakery to ship. It was a gift and not easy to find. Alli answered my emails and calls right away. The rolls arrived fresh and on time. The memories put a priceless smile on his face (he is like a dad to me and hasn't lived in Jersey in decades). Oh, and did I mention the rolls were legit and delicious!!! I contacted MB with my request, and the two employees that worked so closely with me were exceptional. They explained the various food bundles to me and helped me with how much I would need to make sure everyone enjoyed a nice breakfast. Speaking with Nestor about the details made my day because he was friendly and helpful. Ashwin assured me that my order would be as we discussed and on time for the morning I chose (24 hour notice was given) I will definitely turn to this MB again when I need to cater in this way. The recipients were delighted and said there was such an array for a bagel mornin! In the bundle I chose, in addition to the bagels and smears, there were pastries orange juice coffee and plentiful fruit platters.“
