“If I could give this place a 10 I would. We used to go to this intimate BYO sushi place every friday on the way home from work. We would meet at the sushi bar and get to say hi to the regulars...felt like home. The owners are amazing, welcoming and remember their customers...what we like and don't like. I never had to tell them I wanted no ginger or a diet coke because they remembered exactly what I like. The fish is so fresh and the menu is very creative. The sushi chef puts his heart into every dish and is so happy for you to come up before you go to let him know how you loved your meal. This is our go-to when we have friends in town because we always know we will have a consistent level 10 meal and a really fun time. We miss going every week since we moved but we make sure to go visit our sushi fam as much as possible because we were so spoiled by them!“

We immediately were greeted warmly by the staff and were made to feel comfortable.The sushi rolls, gyoza and soup we ordered were fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. “Came to check out this place with my co-worker one day and ordered a variety of different rolls and sashimi. The one that I enjoyed the most was the Yummy Maki roll. I felt that everything that we ordered was decent and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was how rushed the service was because we came in close to closing time. Other than that I had a pleasant experience coming here and wouldn't mind coming again. The ambience of the restaurant is very quiet and you could get a good view of the sushi bar depending on where you sit.“

“Had Dynamite avocado spicy tuna roll ten piece..was a beautiful presentation and a delicious complex tastes with the avocado which added creamy texture , had the spiciness of the sauce, the tuna, and the sweet crunch of the apple was bursting with layers of flavor. “It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“

“One the best places for lunch and dinner. I am very picky when it comes to sushi and I drive from West Orange to come to this spot. All the rolls are great! If you get the chance always go for the lunch special. The value for your dollar is unbeatable.I always judge sushi places on a few factors. I do this because I worked at a sushi restaurant for quite a few years. One of the factors is pink ginger. Pink ginger is usually cheap, so many people associate cheap ginger with cheap fish. This place serves pink ginger and it is the only place where I can say that the quality of their fish is not sacrificed in the slightest. I was blown out of the water when I had their fish.I've been going consistently now for about 3 months, and I have no bad words to say about this place. From take out to dine-in It really is a fantastic sushi spot.“

Be careful not to go crazy ordering because if you leave a lot of food on the table they can charge you. Extra if there is any left over you can take home for 5 or 10 dollars.
