“Wonderful peaceful atmosphere. Comfy seating with nooks to plug in and work. Locally authored books in the shelves. The chai has a perfect balance of herbs and spices and is not too sweet. Also had an amazing empanada and a freshly baked-on-premises cookie. Love the local focus of this cafe. Will come back again to try the fresh leaf teas and the other empanadas.“

I've been dying to come here since it opened so very long ago and FINALLY all the stars aligned (i.e., I actually remembered when it was not a Monday!) and I picked up soup for lunch today. HOW HAVE I WAITED SO LONG. The mulligatawny soup was incredible. It's such a cute place and the owner and staff were so friendly! I can't wait to eat in - and try the jerk chicken sandwich!!!! Thank you for my fantastic lunch today! We definitely will not forget about this place moving forward - soup season is my FAVORITE season! - we will be back! :)“

You don’t even need to speak to anyone because when you scan the QR Code, order & pay for everything (takes the awkward who’s paying) & your order arrives in no time. When you eat the food it is clear there’s a whole team trained in how to make everything that comes out of that kitchen mouthwatering. It’s a whole vibe full of delicious food, quick service, chill ambiance that’s only missing the resort right on the beach built around it. “Pop up dinner at cafe zingara was a one of a kind experience. The newly opened breakfast/lunch spot has become a local favorite so when I heard about the pop up dinner I had to be there. The chefs prepared several appetizer courses and 3 main courses served family-style. There was an abundance of food. The lamb chops were some of the best I’ve had, and the chicken parm on the bone was a unique touch on a classic favorite. Hopefully these dinners will become a regular occurrence because it was one of the best meals I’ve had in my life.“

“This is one of the most beautiful places around! Sagar puts his heart into this place. It's an oasis in Passaic! Come check it out- for a date, or to meet someone or to just chill. He also rents for special occasions- I've even seen small weddings here! Highly highly recommended. Kosher ice cream and snacks as well. Take your wife or date here! In winter, roaring fire inside. I just love it here. Sitting outside and seeing the beauty around me right now. Tranquil....just awesome. Great place to work from as well.“
