“Don't let the appearance fool you, yes it's truck stop diner with some really great food. Run by some locals, the EMS cafe had to switch locations and I think it's for the better!! It's located at the end of a stretch of highway where all major roads converge. That atmosphere is cozy; the staff are polite and professional. Is a great local eatery, placed in a awkward random location that has proved its merits!“

“TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.“

Sure an egg on a burger is nothing new but with sausage and hash brown it's 1+1=100. Take my word for it get this burger. Your soul will thank you. “I moved to South Jersey in 1988 when I was 13. My father worked at the Salem nuclear plant and his shop would order from here a couple of times a week. He brought home a large cheese steak one night for dinner for the three of us and it was delicious. It was so large that we could only eat half of it.I moved around Jersey over the years but I always thought about how great their subs were. I moved back to the area and went there again recently and they haven't skipped a beat. Still the same kind, friendly owners, still the unbelievably large delicious sandwiches I remember. This place may be in the middle of nowhere, but it is absolutely a must if you are driving through the South Jersey Salem County area.“

“My wife and I went there for our 33rd anniversary and happened to hit the end of restaurant week. Not only was the food excellent, but it was extremely reasonably priced. We had salads which were both great, our steaks were perfectly cooked, very tasty, and significant sizes, and the desserts were awesome. Great coffee, a nice bottle of California sparkling wine and some very nice Australian Shiraz which we took most of home, rounded out the evening. We will go back. Ownership has changed a few times but not the quality of their food.For lunch they have great burgers and turkey club and good salads and soups. For breakfast the omelettes and bacon are quite good, and dinner has many options with my favorites being orange roughy and mahi mahi.“

“I was going to go some where else for dinner when I happen to see the Corner Bistro on Yelp. I read the menu and knew I had to give it a try. The restaurant is adorable. It has a simple, yet elegant design and decorations. My server, Kelsey, was wonderful. Very accommodating when I told her I didn't enjoy spinach, she let me substitute asparagus. I had the French onion soup, which maybe the best French onion soup I have ever had. It had so much flavor and so much cheese. It does have bacon, so vegans beware, but if you were going to cheat, it would be worth it. I then had the short ribs with asparagus and the sauce was outrageously good. The short ribs were soft and tender and the asparagus was perfect. When the check is presented, you get a homemade chocolate chip cookie. The only cookies I ever get with the check usually have a fortune in them, so this was a nice touch. I HiGHLY recommend the corner bistro!“
