“This spot was amazing for family sized trays. We got the half tray chicken and lamb combo + half tray of rice. This was the most meat ive gotten at a halal place and the half tray was more than enough for 9 people as we had leftovers. I highly recommend these trays for huge gahrerings, they accommodated within 30 minutes.“

“We went to Gulberg Xpress for a late-night bite and were surprised by the excellent food. Despite the late hour, we took a chance, thinking the food might not be fresh, but it was. The kabab roll and zinger burger we ordered for the kids were great - the kabab was juicy and tender, and the burgers were satisfying. We returned the next day for Eid dinner and ordered a mixed grilled platter, murg chana, butter chicken, and chicken tikka over rice. The portions were huge, and we ate as much as we could, packed the rest. We were impressed by the amount and taste of food, and the price was good too. We'll definitely go back, insha Allah. Even The chai was also amazing, thanks to the chef.“

“Jersey Boys Kitchen is a typical halal place with some extra offerings. I had the chicken platter on my visit and also ordered a buffalo chicken slice. The slice was good, but it was not as spicy as other buffalo chicken slices that I've had before. The chicken platter was good. The chicken itself was a bit dry and when tasted without the white sauce was somewhat bland. All together the platter tasted very good and the portion was as you would expect from a halal place—big. The service was quick and easy. There wasn't a memorable interaction, but my food came out quick and was packed correctly with utensils. All in all, this was a good place to eat with some room for improvement.“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).

“This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am in Manhattan. The food is always consistently excellent and the portion sizes for what you pay is very fair. I love both the combination platter and sandwich. I ordered the sandwich this time because I thought the platter would be too much on a hot humid day but the sandwich was perfectly fine. A soft pita was loaded with chopped gyro and chicken with fresh veggies and topped with their white sauce. It was so good and the meats were so juicy and tender. I just love eating it at the cement benches at the tiny park near by and just people watching. It is a real experience and one of the things you need to try when you come to Manhattan and to the MoMA across the street.“

“I came here specifically for the HalwaPuri this morning, and it absolutely did not disappoint! There is nothing like a traditional breakfast to start the day right. The Puri was perfectly fluffy, light, and not too oily—just the way it should be.
The star of the show for me was the balance between the sweet and savory.

The Halwa had the perfect level of sweetness and a great texture, while the ChanaMasala (chickpea curry) and the potato bhaji had that authentic, spicy kick that makes #DesiFood so addictive. Mixing the sweet halwa with the spicy gravy on a piece of hot puri is a total #Foodie dream!“

“I was going to take a trip to Brooklyn to eat me some food in a restaurant out there but then I decided to stay here so I wanted to see where can I find some good lamb chops and I punched it on my phone and I went to the place and I'm not sure who's giving the bad comments but whoever it is don't know good food I ordered lamb chops which came with rice and salad and it was amazing I have eaten lamb chops at a more pricey place much much higher in price and you only get two lamb chops and I spent the arm and the leg for it and it wasn't that great but this place the lamb chops was excellent the way the service the weight of the waitress everybody was great I didn't have to wait long to order and it was a lot of people in there but if you expect them to get something in 5 minutes then obviously you need to stay home because no restaurant that cooks food. Should take 5 minutes to cook it it has to be longer so I really really enjoy myself that he only downside to it was that I wish I could have eaten more but I had no room for it because I would have ordered another plate of lamb chops but I'll definitely go back again and the waiter or the service person his name was Val v a l excellent excellent guy they're all friendly the staff is really really good there and you get more than enough food so I highly recommend it and I give it five stars“

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“

“Wow, did takeout and was so pleasantly surprised! Have not yet had a tasty chicken and rice platter on the island and I’ve tried many, this by far exceeded the quality and flavors that I’ve previously had. It wasn’t greasy and the cilantro green sauce was a nice addition. It is spicy but what I prefer compared to the blander versions out here. The fries were also really good, kids loved it. Hopefully, they maintain this caliber and looking forward to trying something else on their menu next time!“
