“The best Falafel and shawarma sandwiches out there! Everything served is fresh and great quality. It’s a small spot but truly a gem for middle eastern food. I wish they have one on the south shore of Staten Island, because I drive 30 minutes to get here. Totally worth it!“

“Just had CAVA in Union and it was amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and everything tasted really well put together. The staff was friendly and moved quick, even though it was busy. Definitely one of the better spots around here if you want something healthy that actually tastes good. I’ll for sure be coming back.“

From the moment we stepped into the warm, inviting space—with its glowing string lights, rich Spanish tiles, and that cozy outdoor patio—it was clear this was more than just a restaurant. It was an experience. The crowd came for conversation, but the Mediterranean and Spanish flavors stole the show. From the perfectly grilled seafood to the paella that had people going back for seconds (and thirds), every bite was unforgettable. The crab-stuffed salmon? Game-changer. And then there’s the bar—a destination in itself. Sophisticated, generous, and buzzing with good energy. The sangria flowed, the handcrafted cocktails were on point, and the vibes matched the moment. “Came in today for a café latte and really enjoyed the overall vibe of the place. The interior is beautiful and has a cozy feel that makes it easy to relax and hang out for a bit. The menu is small but solid and everything we ordered tasted fresh.
One thing to note, they do allow smoking out on the patio, and the smell definitely drifts inside. I personally don’t mind it, but if you’re sensitive to smoke it’s something to keep in mind before coming.
Service was a little slow, not bad and no one was rude or anything, just took a bit longer than expected. Overall still a nice spot and I’d come back.“

“This restaurant is a true gem. The food is succulent—you can enjoy everything from perfectly grilled, tender, and flavorful meats to creative dishes with spices you’ve likely never tasted before. The different varieties of rice are a must and pair beautifully with every dish. I can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.
We shared several dishes with friends so we could sample as much as possible, and every single one was outstanding. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful, which made it easy to enjoy great conversation.“

“First time here visiting from Brooklyn. I been looking for good Albanian food. Food is super fresh, homemade, delicious, portions are good sized, staff is super nice, prices are reasonable, place is super clean, quality ingredients. Highly recommend Alba cafe restaurant on Staten Island- you can tell when people care about the food that they serve you - honestly taste like gjyshe is back there cooking! Can’t wait to go back with some friends and family to try it“
