“Saw this gorgeous little boutique in the mall, and I had to stop in!
The presentation of the chocolates and gelatos are eye catching and organized. I love the displays for Easter and chocolate eggs are my favorite!! Especially the mini Lampone eggs. I grabbed many mix & match chocolates along the wall which are paid by weight. The employee named Angel was very kind and helpful explaining all of the options and recommending gelato flavors which made making a decision much easier for me.
I chose a gourmet baby cone with pistachio and it was scooped to perfection! I will be back for more soon :)“

“I simply LOVE this place. It not only has the best vegan sandwiches and desserts, the hospitality is amazing. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The only thing bad is that they are 45 minutes from me. I wish there was one closer to where I live. I would be going more often. I'm hoping one day they will become a franchise. I haven’t had the experience I had today in awhile. You can tell she’s amazing by showing much care with the drinks and customer service. It was like talking to a friend instead of a stranger. “Best ice cream shop in Essex County if not the entire state of NJ. You can taste the difference in quality, creaminess, ingredients, no artificial flavors. Small micro batches made with natural ingredients and real flavors. Great owner and staff. Very nice people who go above and beyond to help create a wonderful experience. Small space but the flavor is large. They are getting ready to launch their second storefront in Lyndhurst. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. Favorite flavors include: Strawberry Baklava Chocolate But all are incredibly good!“

“The Morning Roast is incredible! Alex and Sean truly care about their craft and making sure your experience is authentic and enjoyable. The coffee is genuinely the best coffee I’ve ever had. Alex’s love for what he does is infectious and his knowledge of coffee is unmatched. It can get a little crowded from time to time but 100% worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.“

“Roast occupies the old SmartWorld location which was desperately in need of refurbishment. The owners accomplished it very nicely. The space is gorgeous and they did a great job creating a room that is inviting and exciting. But it gets crowded during peak times; I recommend going in the afternoon and I’ve never encountered a line or had to wait for my drink. The coffee was good, and I got a chocolate chip cookie, which was also good. This is a very trend-forward space and the owners understand the power of social media in what they are attempting. There is a non-zero chance you will end up in the background of someone’s TikTok while you are here. For that reason, it’s not the greatest place to bring your laptop or answer an email. But if you go next door, Lokl limits your WiFi time (yikes!), so the choice is yours. Roast is a great spot to grab a boutique drink and take a picture for Instagram. Definitely check it out!“
