Sara behind the counter has gotten to know me and ALWAYS remembers my order. Tonight, she asked me what was new, and I told her I had been upset all day worrying about all the stuff I have on my plate right now getting my business ready to open. She was the sweetest. When I reached for my credit card, she told me my order was on her and gave me a hug and said, "You got this." It was one of the most human experiences I've ever had, and I just want everyone to know how special this place is. It's not just the sandwiches. It's the kindness.“

“I called my order of loaded fries no chipotle mayo. Came in paid and left. I got to my destination ready to eat and there’s chipotle mayo all over. I went back and spoke to the young lady at the counter with the cooper hair. I told her I wanted a refund because I called in my order and it was wrong she did offer to make me another but I refused due to the fact that if my order was messed up to begin with instead of letting me leave with it, the young man and young lady with the braids knew it was wrong but still bagged it as if everything was correct. They didn’t even offer an apology for their mistakes. I understand that mistakes happen but it should’ve been corrected before I even got there. Time and gas wasted because of laziness.

Update. I would like to make an update to my pervious review. First I would like to say the manager Alejandro is the only reason I’m updating my review. He was very attentive with resolving the issue and making sure I had a better experience than better. His attentiveness and care for the customer is something that isn’t found with a lot of businesses. His customer service was excellent.“

I tried the 6 inch veggie sandwich. It came fully loaded with fresh veggies and special sauces. Each bite was filled with surprising flavours.
I highly recommend these sandwiches sealed with freshness!

There’s no place to eat inside. Their usual customers are the corporate types in the area during the week. You can pick up your lottery tickets, many off the beaten path beverages including Ensure, if you can believe it. Black and White cookies, too. It’s a nice old-fashioned NJ type deli, sandwich shop.\n\nGive it a try!\n\nPS - This software is really hard to work with.“

The naan bread is made their on premise Tandoori oven. The store and parking area is never crowded when I shop. “Nana's is my go to place for sandwiches, back yard parties, and I hade my 78th birthday party in the new beautiful room. Jason and his staff did an outstanding job. The room is beautiful. “I've only ever gotten whole bagels here but WOW they're perfect. Slight crunch to the outside, pillowy inside. They're even amazing plain untoasted with butter and obviously great toasted and all the way dressed up as a sandwich.“

“The original sub sandwich chain founded in Hoboken NJ in 1964. This location inside a convenience store has been around for years. Their Tuna salad and the “club sub” are the standouts. Also their location has tons of parking which is hard to find on Morris avenue. It’s been a family owned location for decades so stop in and say hello!“

Now 3rd trip. Ordered on line. Arrived at specified time only to wait another 30 min for order.
Not sure what other locations do that this one doesn't...but this one on Rt 22 always seems to be a problem.
Will be going to the other location ...it's further away...but never a delay or problem.“

“I worked at J&M for years and this was the best nearby place for lunch when tips were good on a Saturday. I realized over the years that this is by far the best sloppy joe sandwich anywhere in north New Jersey. I now live in the greater Philadelphia area, and still bring a cooler with me when I travel to the Madison area to bring a few of these sandwiches back with me to enjoy. So happy to see they are still in business, glad that some good things never change!“

“We had been to this place on our way to New York. A good subway place with enough room for customers to sit and dine. There are plenty parking as well. There was only one person to serve and the young lady was very friendly and provided a thankful service. Subway we ordered was very delicious and I would go there anytime. Since there was only one person working there, I experienced a bit of a delay. Again that happens in most Subway places away from cities. There is a clean restroom as well.“
