The daily lunch specials are absolutely incredible — generous portions, great prices, and something delicious every time. The lomo dish was one of the best I’ve had: perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor.

“I was in town to visit to see cats at Rahway Kitty Hall. This restaurant is right next store. I stopped into get something to eat. I was impressed with the ambience of the restaurant. My Spanish is not so great, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The food I had was very good. I am interested in people from other cultures and their food. I will surely go there again and try another dish.“

“Manager was awesome! I ordered the Lomo and it was 22.00, I thought it would be a small serving, and then I saw this platter with ton of lomo on it! I have big hands so that goes to show much food there was and the Onions were delish with their green sauce. I ate for two days on it and of course the Inca Kola is a classic, Best soda around.“

“Have been looking for a pan de chicharron (Peru’s national breakfast sandwich) and a tamal and was completely take back to Lima. The pork was so tender and the bread was fresh and delicious. They also use mote aka hamony for their tamales which was so delicious and authentic. Service was amazing. Highly recommend!!!“

“The place is fairly small but not tiny. This seems very authentic, low key but good Peruvian food. I got Lomo Saltado and it was very tasty. I would def come back and try other dishes. Saw some Latino couple getting grilled chicken which looked delicious. Give it a shot, I might come back with 5 stars if next meal is just as good.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. For the portions the prices are very fair. The place is quite small but the food makes up for it for sure. We got our food pretty quickly as well which is always nice. We got anticuchos, pescado a lo macho, mostrito, and passion fruit juice.“

“My experience here was good. I loved the food. I tried a little bit of everything they had like the ribs, rice, and soup. The restaurant is tiny inside but they do have enough tables if you prefer to eat inside. I’m not sure what the theme or culture of the place is, all I know it’s hispanic. “If you want to taste authentic Peruvian food this is your to go place. 100% recommended!! My family and I constantly go but today we had Chupe de Camarones (it was amazing), saltado de pescado and pescado a lo macho. Everything was perfect but the Chupe was on point. We even order another one for later! . Great service and we even got to know the cook named “ El mono”, nice and friendly. Very clean and great environment.“

“The food tastes good, just a pinch of salt to much, but not bad. The employees are great and friendly. The place is very clean as well as the men's room.
The only problem I had was finding a parking spot, and being that we just had a snow blizzard didn't help. They do own a piece of lot down the street where people can park, but it's like a block away.
Other than that, everything else is fine.
I hope this helps you decide. I know that I will be returning after all the snow is gone.“
