I’ve always loved this place and supported since it opened. I’m a little disappointed with an order for my family- 1 classic heavyweight and 2 classic lightweights. They seemed to have shrunk the lightweight, to half the size of the heavyweight (used to seem more like a 10” for LW vs 12” for HW)… I could be wrong as I usually get the Heavyweight for myself, but others mentioned it seemed smaller.

Regardless, the bigger issue to me is the lightweight is $9 on the menu and heavyweight is $16 (I incorrectly put $14 in original post), while the lightweights we received are barely smaller than half of the heavyweight. The HW is on top and LW on bottom in the picture I attached. Since the lightweight is half the size, then people shouldn’t be charged extra and the price should be half. Otherwise, people paying $2 more for two lightweights will feel cheated. Granted it’s only $2, but the price after add-ons and tax is already premium. Bottom line the quality of food here is great, but the point is I could have ordered two heavyweights and paid less. I will be sharing with family/friends to avoid this from happening to them… order heavyweights and share to not be over-charged when ordering lightweights“

“I’ve been here several times. Each visit did not disappoint. I’ve ordered soup and sandwich each time. Each time I ordered a different sandwich. All of them were quite tasty. It’s always the same nice lady working here by herself. I definitely recommend if you’re out for a quick lunch.“

“I called my order of loaded fries no chipotle mayo. Came in paid and left. I got to my destination ready to eat and there’s chipotle mayo all over. I went back and spoke to the young lady at the counter with the cooper hair. I told her I wanted a refund because I called in my order and it was wrong she did offer to make me another but I refused due to the fact that if my order was messed up to begin with instead of letting me leave with it, the young man and young lady with the braids knew it was wrong but still bagged it as if everything was correct. They didn’t even offer an apology for their mistakes. I understand that mistakes happen but it should’ve been corrected before I even got there. Time and gas wasted because of laziness.

Update. I would like to make an update to my pervious review. First I would like to say the manager Alejandro is the only reason I’m updating my review. He was very attentive with resolving the issue and making sure I had a better experience than better. His attentiveness and care for the customer is something that isn’t found with a lot of businesses. His customer service was excellent.“

“It's a very simple place to get a simple sandwich or something a little bit more. Concocted or even without any bread and turn it into a type of platter. Whatever you're looking for they have it here. Roast beef turkey oven roasted smoked swiss cheese provolone white. They got it all here and on. Good half 7 in or 16-in subs.“

“If you want a great, "old school" alternative to Tastees, this is the spot! I don't think they've changed the menu board since the 80s, maybe earlier. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. This place hands down has the best cheesesteaks in the area that I've found. Sesame seed roll, Cooper cheese, and of course Ribeye meat! “I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“I order from Subslingers often, whether it’s for lunch or to cater for a party, I’ve never been disappointed. I recommend the Destroyer Cold Sub. The ingredients are fresh, the bread is fluffy and the sandwich is always filled with lots of meat.“

“John and his family are amazing ❤️ his staff member John is also the best , very hard worker . Food is great and Deli is absolutely spotless . Honestly nothing to say bad or disappointing about this Deli . They also have a variety of snacks ,drinks that are gluten free allergy friendly for myself and my daughter that most large box stores don't even carry .“

“First time here and new to the area. I had no wait time. Smoke turkey and provolone sub was perfection. Soft fresh roll and all the veggies and meat was freshly sliced. I asked for specific items and they made it exactly like I asked.

Now the guy working that day can use some people skills (greet people, smile, saying thank you) but he did make an amazing hoagie. Someone just please tell him it’s ok to smile at paying customers 😁

The establishment has street parking, wide sidewalks and easy to see awning. Inside needs some cleaning, paint and new tiles. Nothing much to look more welcoming but the food is amazing, still.

No inside dining or bathroom. Some seats while you wait.

I also love the clear glass to see your sandwich being made. That’s so classic!

Will be back because summer is definitely for nice chilled subs.
