“When you first walk in you immediately notice a wonderful smell , it's hard to walk away. Luckily for us there was no wait but I've been told there usually is and I can see why , plus the space is not that big. This cozy little spot won over a customer today. I loved that they have a bakery with freshly baked goodies that you can take to go. My husband and daughter sat right next to their book shelf and to our surprise they had toddler books that entertained my 3 year old while we waited for our meal . I ordered the log cabin latte to start , the waiter recommended it and it was delicious , also very interesting . It's a latte with a smoked espresso bacon on it, don't ask me why but it works - it gives the latte an amazing smokey flavor and it tastes great (featured in my pictures) . To eat my husband and I shared their blueberry pancakes , they were sold out of the pumpkin pancakes (guess I'll have to come back ) the pancakes were good. I also ordered the avocado toast with an over easy egg and it was great. My husband had the torta and he enjoyed it. I've got to say we enjoyed ourselves and plan to come back . I wish I had space for a pastry but I'll get that next time.“
“Donuts were great. Ordered some standard donuts for a party, they were awesome. They accommodated our color scheme and made some personalized donuts. They were very fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to go back and try the other more adventurous donuts they have, everything looked and smelled delicious.“

“Booskerdoo Middletown donated hot chocolate for our local elementary school holiday event. It was such a hit! The kids loved the cocoa (peppermint and regular, mmmm) and it added such a special touch to the PTO organized family evening. Booskerdoo in general is great, but the Middletown location takes it a step beyond with their generosity, kind service, and personal touch from Jeff, the owner, who is almost always there making sure everything is running smoothly! “I've only ordered the rocher cake from them so far. Service was great, the website at the time said there is at least 48 hours turnaround time. I reached out to ask if I can get it sooner and they saved one for me! Communication was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful when I picked up my cake. The cake itself is really rich so if you love ferrero rocher and chocolate cake in general this is the cake for you! Personally it's too sweet for my liking, but I would love to try other cakes as well. It is on the pricier side. Would love to come back and try their coffee and pastries!“

My katsu chicken sandwich, in which I thought was undercooked since it looked a bit pink and clear, was replaced with a new one, fried a bit longer, with an explanation from the manager about the situation. Turns out it was fully cooked just it didn't seem like it as it was only fried to a certain extent due to customers common preference of the chicken crispness. WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK HERE. Would say it a great place to do work since you can have a little snack at the same time.“

The flavors are delicious, the amount & variety of vegetables in the veggie soup are perfect. Danielle was so helpful and guided use through the ordering process to ensure we had plenty of food for our guests. The food was delivered and set up at our venue promptly and professionally. “We stopped here unexpectedly when seeing it after eating at the pizzeria next door. There is a tent outside the front door of the restaurant where you could sit outside at a bench if you like. We had parked at the metered parking lot across the street, so we needed to put another quarter in to stay and have dessert here. It's a Portugese / Brazilian restaurant & bakery. We were shocked to see that it opens at 4:40 in the morning! There were several breakfast dishes on the menu. They also had sandwiches, empanadas, and most importantly desserts ! I was excited to see they had chocolate flan ! Omg this was sooooo good. It had chocolate sprinkles on top AND they drizzled chocolate sauce over it. It was so creamy and decadent. I highly recommend this for chocolate lovers. My husband and his brother split a piece of cake. To me, it slightly tasted like sweet cornbread with chocolate icing. To go for the next morning, I took home one of their dulce de leche donuts. Omg this is so good. The donut is not as sweet as an American donut, it's more sweet bread-like. It was absolutely filled with dulce de leche caramel and topped with powdered sugar. The guy that waited on us was very friendly and I think he was amused at my excitement finding all these goodies there. The inside of the restaurant is very casual with several small tables. This place was fairly popular as folks kept walking in and ordering. This is definitely worth the stop here for their baked goods.“
