“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely host future events here.“

“Came for Taco Tuesday! Place was very nice. Sat at the Bar, the bartender was very attentive and margaritas were on point. My girlfriend had a regular margarita before the food came and a passion fruit margarita after the food. We started with chicharron con tostones and guacamole. Was apprehensive to try the tostones as I’ve never had them, glad I did. Tacos Tuesday is $1 tacos for chicken, steak, and carnitas. Minimum of 5 and you can mix and match. We had a combination of all 3. They were very good, maybe just a bit too much onion, but you remove some. We also had the Birria tacos! A must have.“

“This is the dive bar that reminds you nobody does dive bars right anymore. I don't even drink and I go here for games just because the vibes are right. Also, the people complaining about the food are snobs. The food is good (especially the wings); it's a bar not a country club.“

“I've done meal plans for years, I've tried almost every major recognizable meal plan service. Paid nearly $100/week for 4-5 meals everywhere, and quality to price ratio, maybe 7/10. The 5-meal plan from MMG here in Clifton (have ordered for over 6mos), the quality is consistent, the options are fantastic, and the taste is so good, makes you think you're having a cheat meal. Oh and you are paying under $10/meal. Kinda can't be beat. Nowhere is perfect, can't speak to the other negative reviews, but this place has my commit and hard recommendation.“

“Great wings! In case that was not clear great wings. You can tell they are fresh not frozen, cooked perfectly. Hot and moist throughout, crispy skin and good blue cheese too nice and chunky. Other items are good too. Burgers done right, Quesadillas are spot on fried raviolis we’re good too. One really good point here is they make a good side of tater tots if you want those rather than fries. Had many other good food items. They also have a good selection of beers on tap with good local brews and some of the old cheapies as well.“

“First time visiting for me and my wife, as we walked in we didn’t know where to sit so we went upstairs. However, the server led us to a dimly lit corner despite plenty of tables available so we chose to sit downstairs instead, even though seating there was a bit tight and not very comfortable.

Our server downstairs was attentive and friendly, which we appreciated. That said, the overall atmosphere felt more geared toward guests with reservations for special party celebrations rather than people just for dining in, so we got the impression that we should wrap up and leave once we finished our meal.

“I have been going to Sonoma almost weekly for over a year now. It started off with taco Thursdays and their delicious margarita specials and has now turned into exploring every menu item possible. I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Incredibly delicious every single time. I am gluten intolerant which can pose challenges. The kitchen and staff have been amazing In accommodating my food allergy. I highly recommend Sonoma on any day of the week. It very quickly became my favorite go-to restaurants.“

“Drove here with a buddy from Woodbridge nj and I’m really happy I did . They have 180 choices of wing flavors from sauces to dry rubs. Wings meaty and crispy the way wings should be ! “Solid sports bar with good wings. We ordered three traditional wing flavors: buffalo, O'Hara's special sweet and spicy, and parmesan garlic. The O'Hara special flavor was by far the favorite of the group. I would not order the artichoke dip again as it was quite watery and tasted about the same as a frozen option from the grocery store. Although they have a great beer menu I was disappointed that my two preferred beers were unavailable to order (Blue Moon and cold snap). All things considered, I'd come back for the wings and the sports bar atmosphere.“

“This place is a 10/10. I hosted my engagement party here after having my first date here with my fiancé 3 years ago. From the first date to now, we have loved this place. Working with Nicholas was a breeze - he had everything set up beautifully and was extremely professional throughout the process. The party was fantastic - staff was professional and friendly. “I'm a simple man. I saw a burger, beer, and shot happy hour for $10 and went running. I was expecting a little burger for the price but it was a solid tasty one. An added plus is the good selection of craft beer on draft. The bartender Stefany was very welcoming and hooked me up with an unconventional old fashion that hit the spot paired with the burger.

I thought this place was just the bar but I discovered there's another room with a pool table. I'll definitely back for that and the dart board.“

“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

“If you want an amazing taco, hit up The Hive for Taco Tuesday or any night!!! Simple and very tasty tacos at a very reasonable price. My favorite is the chicken and they are $3 a piece on Tuesday. They also have a beat the clock special for margaritas starting at 4:00. Jessica and Hamsel were super attentive and very friendly. Bar is clean and organized. The vibes have been frat bro and adults who still think they’re in frats each time I’ve been.

That being said, staffs always been nice and it does have a good social atmosphere where you can meet people / make new friends if you want.

“I went to this place in a clutch. Wanted some food and a drink after a late show at NJPAC in Newark after midnight. It is bar food; jalapeño poppers, wings, burger, etc but very good. The bartender was courteous and despite it appeared most patrons were usuals, we were treated well being it was a first time for us there.“

“Great little bar near the PATH Station in Harrison. Located in the rear side of the Element Hotel on Somerset Street. Very nice atmosphere, friendly crowd and very friendly service. Reasonably priced drinks and if you like there is some seating outside the bar when the weather cooperates. I found it a nice place to stop and have a drink or two. I’d recommend stopping in when you’re in the area. A nice addition to the newly renovated, and ongoing, Harrison Station area.“
