Im glad I did ,I have to say my goddaughter sweet 16 turned out so beautiful it was more then we expected we sent her a picture and she matched it to the tee, and it tasted amazing. “Made the mistake of taking these in a take away box. They should really be eaten on the spot or after sitting in the fridge a bit to allow the cream to set otherwise it will come apart after cutting a few bites.

Had the Tiramisu and the signature cake and the are very luxurious. Dont know what else to say other than it is airy and you can feel each layer as you bite down on it.“

“Everything was absolutely perfect, from the service to the deliciousness of the food (Chilean sea bass was outstanding, the lamb chops special was superb and the grilled octupus was perfectly tender). The only mention I have and it's seriously not a big deal was the dining room that we were seated in was a bit too dark I actually had to turn my flashlight on my phone to see. On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 11 !!“

“As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

“Wow…..just Wow! Lyndhurst Pastry Shop went above and beyond. We live in Georgia and my granddaughter marched in the Veterans Day Parade yesterday in NYC. And today is her birthday. I called 6 places before I spoke to Matt who said they would take my order. My order was for a full sheet cake with a mellophone on top and it was to be DELIVERED at 7:30 AM this morning at the band’s hotel. I also shipped the plates, napkins, forks, cake knife/server, candles, and lighter stick to the bakery for them to take along with the cake. It was PERFECT!!! The kids loved the cake for breakfast. Wide selection, all freshly backed, wonderfully friendly staff and the cherry on top is the actually fair prices in a time when almost nothing feels like that. “Excellent bakery. Lots of quality and a nice variety of baked goods. My only complaint is that even though the espresso I had was made correctly, I didn't feel the "taste" was there. Must be a domestically made coffee. Wish they would use a true Italian espresso like Illy at the least. Other than that I'll be back.“

There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. I came with a 2 year old, she needed a diaper change, they told me the restrooms were closed to customers and only for staff. I got my little girl her ice cream and a guy who appeared to be a manager told us to get out because they dont allow indoor seating. it's a shame because the ice cream is great and it's a great location“
