Custom Cakes near Ridgewood, NJ

“Tried the USR location this morning as it's located around the corner from my office. Front staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with assisting me to navigate options as a first time visitor. There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. Can't wait to return to try desserts and coffee!“

“I e cream is great, nice building and atmosphere, rude pretentious staff. I came with a 2 year old, she needed a diaper change, they told me the restrooms were closed to customers and only for staff. I got my little girl her ice cream and a guy who appeared to be a manager told us to get out because they dont allow indoor seating. it's a shame because the ice cream is great and it's a great location“

“Modern Cakery is the best place for all of your bakery needs!! We ordered cookies for my son's birthday and they were absolutely delicious. We also regularly stop by the bakery for an after school treat. The owners were sweet enough to get to know my kids, and let us know when they'll be making their favorite cookies! Truly, the most wonderful people. 10/10 recommend.“

“I’ve been using Karla’s Bakery for about two years now and I honestly love them! They made my daughter’s Sweet 16 cake and most recently my son’s birthday cake, and both were absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. I love being able to bring my ideas to them and see them come to life. Highly recommend Karla’s Bakery for any special occasion!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Restaurant Experience! ❤️ I came across this unique and beautiful restaurant while searching online. I was looking for a special place to take my family out for dinner because it was my oldest son's birthday. I also read the history of this beautiful place, Father a Son team and it sounded like something down our alley and my son would really love to experience. Oh my goodness! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm and welcoming attitude. We were seated in the best spot, and they even brought out a high chair for my grandson. We try to put him in high chairs but he just doesn't like them. This little guy wants to be a big boy already😂❤️ Our waiter, Ali I believe that was his name, was absolutely the best! He was so approachable, funny, and well mannered with all of us. He even joked around with my grandson, which made the experience even more special. Thank u! Everything we had was delicious! From the warm bread with olives and olive oil to the appetizers, to our main dishes and oh my goodness, those drinks🍹 They were to die for! Now that's what I call, “Call me an Uber!” 😂 They definitely were not stingy with the alcohol, and those drinks were so good! 😉 They even brought out a little dessert for my son to celebrate his birthday, and it was so, so good and absolutely delicious! 🎂❤️ I rate this restaurant 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Honestly, if I could give them double the stars, I gladly would! Thank you for treating my family as if we were right at home and we did feel as were home❤️ Your hospitality, food, drinks, and wonderful service made my son's birthday dinner truly memorable and ours too! We will definitely be back! ❤️ and this time we would love to seat in that beautiful garden outside❣️“

“Best bakery in the area, the cakes are all delicious; I’d definitely recommend the Raspberry and the Red Velvet!! Every time going in, the girls are very friendly and make the place feel very welcoming, especially the one super bubbly one, I think her name is Liz. Overall, whenever I need a cake for a birthday, or I’m just craving a slice, this is definitely my go-to place!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We needed a custom sheet cake last minute and Kerri at SugaMama came through! Her customer service was fantastic and the cake was amazing - everyone at our event kept talking about it. We went with the vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream filling and it was incredible! So grateful for the wonderful experience, and looking forward to ordering again soon.“

“Tried this place today and OMG the food was delicious. Delivery was prompt and prices excellent!! Added to our favorites list.“

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

“We ordered a custom cake & cookies for our twins 2nd birthday. Not only were both items beautiful they were delicious too. The cake looked exactly like Cocomelon and our girls were obsessed with it. They couldn’t take their eyes off. Thank you to everyone at Mills!“

“Carvel cake decorator Carolyn truly did a wonderful job with the cake I ordered. I highly recommend ordering a birthday or any special occasion cake from this Carvel location and placing your trust in Carolyn. Not only did she craft a fantastic cake, but she also shows genuine kindness by calling customers to ensure they get exactly what they want for their cake.“

“Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!! I wish I bough more. The staff was super nice and helpful. I grew up in pal park, and the bakery was always the go to spot for our desserts. Keep it going and no slacking on the deliciousness. Going back today for more cookies😁“

“muy buenos bizcochos, estilo dominicano“

“Very satisfied about my choice! Was ordered in store, the staff girl was straight forward with my order: showed interest in writing it down carefully, asked me all the questions on how I want my custom special occasion cake and at pickup, weeks later, all was as planned. Everyone loooved the icecream cake! I highly recommend!“

“We respect all opinions and try to improve ourselves according to customer feedback, but some of our ex-employees and competitors take advantage of this tool to throw mud at our work. One of the reviews says the person who is the wife of a city inspector and says that this inspector found the place dirty. This is not logical or true because when that happens they close the businesses until what they find is fixed and they fine the merchants. Our and your bakery has never failed any of the city inspections since their first visit and we have never had to close our business for health reasons. As merchants we know that the competition uses these means to throw garbage at the reputation of its most successful competitors and that is unfair competition. We do not fall for that and we focus on delivering the best product and service to our customers. We are here to listen to any complaint and resolve it if you speak to us in a forum where we can defend our work and seek a solution if warranted. Thank you to our sponsors and our clients for allowing us to serve you in our third consecutive year. Thank you loyal customers and welcome to all future customers. Thanks for your patronage.“

“Best Dominican cake in Town… el mejor bizcocho dominicano! Hice mi orden por teléfono sin ningún problema; al recoger estaba listo y tal como lo pedí …Gracias Jessica, por tu excelente servicio y atención.“

“Ice cream 🍦 cakes are absolutely delicious 😋“

“I’ve loved Cold Stone for years and always supported every local establishment in any area I’m near. This was my first time at this specific location and it was very welcoming and clean. Don’t you just love when you walk into an ice cream shop and can smell the freshness of the products? I’ve craved ice cream since the start of my pregnancy and I’m currently 6mon. The one girl who assisted me was truly patient and helpful with me. I mixed around a few flavors and toppings and she got me just right lol shot out to her!! Oh I gave 4 stars because I keep trying to call the store to ask about something but no one ever answers. That’s quite disappointing so I hope they can get that together.“
