“We stopped on our long journey home from the shore and we were NOT disappointed !! Barb was helpful, sweet and gracious during our visit. The prepared food was AMAZING!!! And trust me when I say my family and I are pretty critical with our Filipino food, growing up around some of the best Filipino cooks ever. Literally EVERYTHING was amazing. We even picked up some groceries and snacks as well. We will be making the trip again just to visit The Filipino Foodmart in the near future. If you are in this area or even driving up the Garden state Parkway (it was super easy on and off with gps) make the stop. You will not be disappointed.“

“Cozy Filipino spot that’s both a restaurant and small grocery store. Got the chicken inasal, pork menudo, and rice served family style and it was amazing and made with lots of care. The people were very nice and friendly. Perfect after a shopping day at the local malls. 10/10“

“I struggle to find words that can do Bonney’s justice. The food is phenomenal, and the portions beyond generous. The fusion of Jamaican and Filipino staples creates such a beautiful symphony of flavors, it’s truly unique and out of this world delicious! However, it is the service and atmosphere, so warm and inviting, that it feels like a weekend barbecue with close friends and family that takes it up a notch from great restaurant to a special experience.“

“This is a cozy take out and Filipino grocery spot, with a little bit of space for dine in. They also have bakery goods as well. They easily explained to me the food options that I could understand. “My family and I have been coming here for so many years... probably since they opened... as a mom of two toddlers and a baby its so convenient and yummy... the employees treat us like family... there’s a lot of choices! My favs are Kaldereta, karekare, gatang pampano, binagoongan eggplant with jalopeno... my kids love anything with sabaw... being a nurse full time... and doing virtual school with my toddlers because of covid getting a bunch of ulam to go for the week really makes my life easy and my kids will grow up knowing filipino food.“
