“Last night 6 of us who have been to Plumstead many times went for dinner, Food was great as always (prime rib, stuffed shrimp, champagne chicken, chicken stir-fry excellent,) On this visit however our server was not very pleasant. It started with asking for separate checks which she said she couldn't do. One guest asked for cole slaw instead of salad and she said no subs, but on previous visits we could sub. Another server came over and was very pleasant complimenting one of our party on their Christmas sweater, the manager offered to take a picture of our group. Our server reached across other diners to serve food or drink instead of walking around to put in front of them. Probably should have said something to the manager upon leaving. We know her name but will only say it starts with a P.“

“Our food was not good tonight May 13, 2025... sliced filet mignon was tough, couldn't even chew it, told the server and someone named Jacob came and asked if we wanted something else..there were 4 of us, they were all eating so I said no.. they didn't even take my meal off the check... disgraceful, food is way overpriced,, we will never eat here again“

“This place is excellent. Keep in mind its cash only, with an ATM located inside. My first time there was sort of forced, when i was younger i was not open to different food like this. Now i find myself at this establishment multiple times a month. This time i had the saint patty day special. Corned beef with cabbage, and potato soup. Very good. Also tried the brat salad (i think it was called) which is german bologna with tomatos, onions, and maybe cucumber. It was extremely good. The kartoffelpuffers (potato pancakes) are amazing, the spatzel (fried german noodles) are my favorite. And the beef stew is like no other. Ive never had anything bad off this menu. The desserts are great as well.“

“We got seated quickly, our waitress was friendly and gave us good service. The food was good. We had the turkey dinner The lunch special. which was very filling. The only complaint that I had is that it's $4 for a small cup of coffee. where you can get a large cup of coffee for either free or $3 at QuickCheck. The coffee was the same quality. And why is tea always more expensive than coffee. It's $4 for a small cup of tea.“

“Omg I’m in love with the @countrystore454 . They are notorious for breakfast and lunch. The food was amazing no one spoke till the last bite. I had the worlds best Chicken Gyro 🥙. Made with real juicy chicken no mystery meat, fresh veggies, and tzatziki sauce so good I thought I was in Greece 🇬🇷. The wife had a classic cheesesteak you know I had to take a bite amazing to say the least. My mother in law had a Turkey club with crispy bacon non of that chewy stuff, it was packed with over 3 lb of the best @boarshead_official turkey. You can tell they take pride in fresh quality ingredients. My kids are super picky eaters and they gave 2 thumbs up as they devoured tenders and crinkle fries.The store is so nostalgic with old school items like Mary Janes made with real molasses and peanut butter, my favorite was a refreshing apple soda. The staff was fast and very friendly. This place is a true hidden gem 💎 literally the bellybutton of NJ surrounded by beautiful farms and trees very picturesque. “Very warm homecoming services and management, plus reasonable great choices of very nice food quality for the best of your money. we like the "Build-A-Breakfast" $7.79 choose 3 items, we prefer (1) Smoke Sausage (delicious) (2) Fresh Fruits (3) Three Pancakes (The best pancakes) and 2 Large Eggs. and from 11 am-4 pm Lunch Trios $9.99 for (1) Tomato Basil Soup (must try) (2) Half Sandwich: Pot Roast Melt. (order every time) (3) Honey Mustard Chicken Crunch Salad (very fresh and tasty). These dishes we order very time.😍“
