“I recently attended my neice's Shabbas Shevah Brachos and Heimish was the caterer for the all the meals.All the food served was fresh and delicious with a homemade feel. The chicken soup served Friday night was absolutely superb and above expectations when being served from a commercial kitchen! It was hearty and hot along with the matzah balls and noodles!For all three meals (Friday night, Shabbas lunch and Shalesh Suedes) the courses were plated nicely.We have a number of family members that required strict gluten free options which was met absolutely beyond expectations! Everything was clearly labeled and kept clean away from any cross contamination and indeed no one walked away with any reactions!I absolutely reccomend Heimish for any and all types of simchas for your catering needs!“

“I’m coming here for its handmade tofu but honestly that was the most disappointing dish we ordered. The tofu was very dense and firm, can’t really tell the difference between the three flavors. The other dishes are surprisingly good, especially love the bossam!“

“B&M is a name I've heard about around town for years. I finally tried them myself last year during a Yelp Elite event but had not returned. Well this past week I needed some catering for a really important work meeting. A friend and former colleague spoke very highly about their offerings and the amazing service provided directly from the owner himself. I am kicking myself for not taking pictures but it was such a chaotic day, it completely slipped my mind. The delivery guy showed up right on time with my catering for 65 people - with the leftovers you'd think we ordered for a hundred! We had a wonderful assortment of gourmet sandwiches and salads - one pasta, one Greek. We also had cookies and fruit for lunch. There were no cookies left. This was the one item we did not have extreme amounts of leftovers remaining! My dealers were all impressed with the spread and specifically said they were happy to see this instead of Panera boxed lunch. Jon was a pleasure to do business with and all the people around the office wanted his info for future meetings.“

“I had my entire wedding here at Old Tappan Manor. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. This place is so magical and beautiful. It truly made the wedding look like a luxurious and grand wedding. The venue alone is absolutely gorgeous. The overall opinions from my guests about the food was tasty and excellent. The wedding Coordinator- Vincent was superb. He was always very responsive and so accommodating. My bridal assistant was always around and the best help. Selection of food and liquor options, our liquor luge was a huge hit. I told them to not run out of jameson and they understood the assignment! They made sure we didn’t run out. I was extremely happy. My family and friends had such a great experience and they were so in love with our venue. I would give this place a 10 out of 10.“

“My Daughter ordered this Roast Beef dinner with the works. The roast beef was very tender and tasty and the gravy was an added bonus! The mashed potatoes were smooth and silky and delicious. “Last night, at Columbia University, we had an event catered by Apple Spice and I had the vegetarian option. Homemade pesto mayo, thick fresh whole wheat bread, veggies galore with fresh slices of tomato, mushroom, peppers, cucumber, zuchini...and a pickle. Plus chunky cantalope and pineapple on the side. There were MANY options, but I just had the enormous and delicious vegetarian sandwich. I ate every crumb so sadly do not include a photo in this review. Xxox“

From the beginning of the planning process until the big day, John Gresia and his team made the process of wedding planning a breeze. John had recommendations for local vendors, in which we used his vendor John for the photobooth, and we cannot say enough good things! Aside from being a beautiful, local venue, the food and attention to detail were excellent. My husband and I had our reception at the Westchester Manor on November 11th, 2023 and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We received positive feedback from all our friends and family, which made it all the more worth it. Our guests to this day are still complimenting us on the service and the food served from cocktail hour, through dinner and dessert. John was always available to answer any questions, was super accommodating through the process, and made everything run even more seamlessly the day of. I cannot wait to have future events here. “It’s cliche but true: everything here is great. The pizza is dynamite, the sandwiches, soup - you name it. They have lunch specials every day and a lunch buffet on Wednesdays.The restaurant is deceivingly big; walk into the bar section with tables available. Turn right and there’s another section and then during nice weather they have outdoor dining.They do a lot of celebrations- birthdays, reunions, etc., so everyone knows where to go for great food at a decent price.Kid-friendliness: Big room in the back, good for the kids.“

You can tell the eggs were very fresh, the fresh spinach was not overdone and the sprouts were brilliant. “I would definitely host another party or event at the Elan. The entire staff from the initial planning of my grandson’s birthday party, to the day of the event including the servers. The whole event was flawless. The food was good. The only reason why I can’t say that the food was great was that the Chicken Marsala was overcooked. “Mickey's Oasis in Scarsdale is a hidden gem for BBQ lovers. Food truck on the side of the road with outdoor seating adds to the charm. The smoked BBQ here is top-notch, with smoky ribs, pulled pork, and mouthwatering brisket. The prices are affordable, and the staff is friendly. Definitely need to return to try their chicken and burgers. Mickey's Oasis is a must-visit for delicious BBQ in a outdoor setting.“

“I went here for Pick Hungarian Salami, they would slice it on the oval for me. Always picked up at least 4 different types of Pirogies. The homemade mustard and the potato salad. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. They advertise Italian food on the menu but its actually completely different once you get it..it tastes fine but just be aware that any non-Latin food you order probably is still Latin lol. I ordered penne vodka and I got some kind of spicy sauce. Apparently, this is their 'version' of it. Pricing is fair for slightly large portions. A large 'penne vodka' was $11.“
