“I recently attended my neice's Shabbas Shevah Brachos and Heimish was the caterer for the all the meals.All the food served was fresh and delicious with a homemade feel. The chicken soup served Friday night was absolutely superb and above expectations when being served from a commercial kitchen! It was hearty and hot along with the matzah balls and noodles!For all three meals (Friday night, Shabbas lunch and Shalesh Suedes) the courses were plated nicely.We have a number of family members that required strict gluten free options which was met absolutely beyond expectations! Everything was clearly labeled and kept clean away from any cross contamination and indeed no one walked away with any reactions!I absolutely reccomend Heimish for any and all types of simchas for your catering needs!“

“After visiting the Museum of Moving Image in Astoria we walked up the block and had a nice lunch at Pig Beach BBQ. My husband and I split the sampler platter which we both enjoyed. My favorite was the pulled pork and my husband’s favorite was the ribs.We were both surprised that it was more of a cafeteria style set up instead of sit down. To me that was probably the only drawback. But it was a very laid back casual atmosphere which a lot of people may find appealing.“

“I’m coming here for its handmade tofu but honestly that was the most disappointing dish we ordered. The tofu was very dense and firm, can’t really tell the difference between the three flavors. The other dishes are surprisingly good, especially love the bossam!“

“Thank you so much to the chefs and staff of Food Trends for a really delicious luncheon for the staff and faculty at our professional school yesterday, a party of 80+. We did a "themed menu" and the chicken, fish, and vegetables were all delicious. So often the vegetable dishes and sides are afterthoughts but the beans and potatoes were scrumptious and perfectly cooked. I appreciated that they brought cards that identified the food items and indicated if the food was vegan, gluten free, etc. (most caterers haven't done that in my experience). The staff who dropped off the food were prompt and friendly. And Kelly, rep from the catering team who assisted me with the order, was helpful and responsive. All around I had an exceptional experience with Food Trends.“

“What’s the Kitch? Catered my husband’s 75th birthday party for 24 people in our apartment in Manhattan. From my initial contact right through til the end of the party, I knew this was the caterer for us. Jeffrey and his assistant were extremely professional. I loved his “if you want it, we can make it happen” approach. We had a wonderful selection of light bites that were all outstanding. They were prepared and served (and cleaned up!) right at home, making it a very intimate and fun evening. We were so impressed that we have already booked him for our holiday party in December. The venue alone is absolutely gorgeous. The overall opinions from my guests about the food was tasty and excellent. The wedding Coordinator- Vincent was superb. He was always very responsive and so accommodating. My bridal assistant was always around and the best help. Selection of food and liquor options, our liquor luge was a huge hit. I told them to not run out of jameson and they understood the assignment! They made sure we didn’t run out. I was extremely happy. My family and friends had such a great experience and they were so in love with our venue. I would give this place a 10 out of 10.“

“We came for the Lamb Vandaloo and the Lamb Rogan Josh, and I must tell you, they were one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The Lamb comes with rice and some rich tasty naan. The whole event was flawless. The food was good. The only reason why I can’t say that the food was great was that the Chicken Marsala was overcooked. To start he was very responsive, very accommodating, we set a date and time, we selected our menu and we paid deposit.Day of my wife’s birthday (who just gave birth 3 weeks ago) he showed up on time, walked into the kitchen as if he has been in our home 18 times, found everything he needed to find and got to work asap. We were ready on time and so was he. Everything he cooked in our kitchen was delicious, we enjoyed every dish!Chef David was friendly, approachable accommodating. He brought his own dishes to serve us with which was great. He washed everything he used, he cleaned the kitchen stove and the kitchen counters. “Last night, at Columbia University, we had an event catered by Apple Spice and I had the vegetarian option. Homemade pesto mayo, thick fresh whole wheat bread, veggies galore with fresh slices of tomato, mushroom, peppers, cucumber, zuchini...and a pickle. Plus chunky cantalope and pineapple on the side. There were MANY options, but I just had the enormous and delicious vegetarian sandwich. I ate every crumb so sadly do not include a photo in this review. Xxox“

“Hudson table has some amazing cooking classes. We did the pasta class . We made 4 different types of pasta. The class was fun we met new people and made some good memories. The Staff was fun and really interactive with us. A good time was had by all.“

“We recently held a fundraiser at the World's Fair Marina and we could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. The staff from the beginning were extremely accommodating and made sure to take care of us as we were busy hosting the fundraiser. They even came by and hand delivered drinks and came to us with a plate of appetizers. The little things matter! The room was set up beautifully with pink decor and the room brought tears to many eyes as we threw this fundraiser for an amazing friend of ours. The food was absolutely delicious. We had lemon piccata, pepper steak, sausage and peppers, penne a la vodka plus salad. It was an amazing spread and people went up for seconds. My kids loved the rice in particular and especially the dessert table of pastries and fruit. The bar tender was a sweetheart and their homemade fruit punch is so tasty. It's virgin so kids had it and they loved it. Adults added some liquor and wow - amazing cocktail. Without a doubt, this venue is the place in queens to hold a party. The gorgeous views and amazing service + food = a great time for all! So much gratitude to the staff and owners for being so accommodating and welcoming.“
