“I used Duri for my baby’s first birthday party and it was one of the best decisions I made! Andy is so kind and he was very easy to email with about the menu, price, and quantity.

I did a buffet style for our party in Manhattan and they were able to deliver. Delivery was timely and the food was so delicious all my guests were talking about it afterwards! A few friends even decided to cater from Duri after trying it at the party.

Will definitely go with Duri again for future events.

Everything was delicious but some standout dishes were the Kalbi JJIM and Shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce on the side. Crowd pleasers!“

“We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Glen Island Harbour Club until January 2025. Winter weddings can be tough if you are not at an iconic location with extensive interiors conducive to photography meant to maximize the natural and ambient light, but in this case, it was perfect! The bridal suite was stupendous and the guys had a perfect place to get ready, too. All the areas had a lot of daylight considering it was the darkest time of the year and were elegantly furnished. The spaces all complimented the chosen scarlet red and classic tux look. We went outdoors for a bit despite the cold and windy day and loved the views of the water. Everywhere we went the staff was perfect for our couple, their family and friends, and us as vendors. We had scouted the venue beforehand, but we did not realize just how much room we’d have to work with - especially getting ready, taking spectacular shots on the staircase and in the lobby, during the ceremony even with so many guests, and for the reception with a huge dance floor. The food during cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with seemingly limitless options for everyone. The venue staff made sure we had a nice meal as well while checking in on the little things we love such as ensuring we’re set for the entrances and knew the itinerary for the reception. And again, this was our impression during the most difficult time of the year! I cannot imagine how extraordinary the property is during warm seasons, but we hope to find out soon. While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review, and we appreciated the sensational first visit with hopefully many more to come. “Absolutely, hands down 10/10. From the very first email to the days following our wedding, the staff at The View, especially our friend Vincent, made us feel welcome and cared for. They were an absolute delight to work with, from beginning to end. From the moment you enter, the facilities are gorgeous. Everything is beautifully maintained and well thought out, including an AMAZING bridal AND groom suite, AND a salon area- which no other venue we looked at had. The in-house chef was happy to work with us to create a custom menu, that was not only fully vegetarian, but also included Indian, American and Italian classics. Our guests are still raving about the food! All areas of The View-ballroom, cocktail area, bar, patio, bridal/groom suites/salon- are stunning. It is the perfect size for a smaller or medium sized wedding, which was great because so many other venues in the area have guest minimums of 200 or 250. The facility is gorgeous. “This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“

“Great place. Well made sandwich. The owner Ron is the genuine article. This man truly cares about the quality, preparation of his food and service for his customers. I asked for no oil unless it was real olive oil on the sandwich (lots of places save a buck by serving cheap soy oil, seed oil beliefs aside.. I prefer olive oil) and he produced a lovely can of high quality extra virgin olive oil. He asked if I wanted the sandwich slightly toasted which was a great touch.
