“We had an event catered out of state and can’t say how wonderful and professional Abhi and his team were. Not only was the food great and spot on but the service, smiles and positive vibes from his entire staff was amazing. The event was seamless thanks in large part b/c absolutely no hassles from the caterer. The appetizers were fantastic especially the Raj Kachori which was a hit! “It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. “One of best street food I ever had. Owner was very friendly and nice too us. I asked the owner what dish is popular and well known and he said bhakri pizza and indo Chinese. So we got bhakri pizza, Dahi Puri, peri peri fries and chilli paneer. Everything was fantastic and my personal favorite was the peri peri fries. We ended our meal with milkshake and it was so yummy. The owner was very nice to us and he made sure we were doin great. I highly recommend this place if u are missing choice in India.

“This place is kind of 1 hour away from my house but it has been worth the travel so far.

Food Taste and Quality: we have tasted Kari dosai, chicken fried rice, mini idli, parotta, poori masala, mutton chukka. All of them have been good and consistent each time.

Service Quality: the people who take/serve the order have also been very prompt and did not keep us waiting. Everything was served and cleaned promptly.

Cost: it does some seem to cost more overall compared to other places. Even without desert for a party of 6 it costs $40 per person.

Facilities: restaurant has good facilities inside as well parking outside.

Overall it has been a good experience, but cost is slightly above average compared to A2B“

Tonight we had the Coconut Chicken Curry, Dal Makhani (Lentil -vegetarian curry), Garlic Naan, and a Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious! Portions were plenty and the price was very reasonable. “On an recommendation from one of my known friend, ordered the food for an major event and it was very good among which Live Tandoor station was a big hit where guests enjoyed different varieties of Non-Veg and Veg kebabs made of authentic home made spices I believe with a smoky flavor which gave an extra add-on to the starters.
To the whole I say that, the event was 100% successful and all my friends and other guests loved the food A - Z which Shimla management provided with entrees, main course and desserts etc.

“I ate here a few years ago - don't recall my whole meal but i remember it was good - love mint chuntey. The manager / staff was friendly. The space is small but organized and clean. Recently i ordered through uber eats - they had a buy one get one free promo on the chicken tikka. I also got a few orders of garlic naan. The chicken tikka with rice was good - moist chicken, good flavor and not too spicy. However the garlic naan was disappointing - it was a tad bit salty but mostly the bread was flat and dense - it should be a little more fluffy with a nice chew. Hope they read this and improve it - would give it another try.“

“We are lucky to have a Banquet hall like Rasoi in the town. It is perfect to have a small or big party. We recently had our Diwali get-together at Rasoi. The Food and service were top-class. The manager Prasad Kadam ensures all goes well and all guests are happy. The staff members are very warmth and welcoming. Once this place is renovated in the coming months, it will have a brand-new Banquet hall to host the parties. I hope Chefs will introduce and add new food dishes to the catering menu.“
