“Kosher bakery with everything you can think of. They offer cakes, cookies, bread, challah, pastries etc... and even sell pizza and sushi. This bakery is the go to bakery in this town and is extremely popular. The pi,za and sushi can have very long waits in the summer especially during peak hours.

Parking: Easy to find parking on street on regular days. During peak season parking can be rough.

“A few years ago, I began the search to find a good cake/baking supply store. Michaels is OK for last minute items but I wanted a “Go To” place. When I went to the internet, Shore Cake Supply was the 1st one to pop up. I live in North Jersey so it’s an hour or so drive for me BUT I drove there and had a “me” shopping spree. I’ve taken a class or two and even suggested to Jennifer that I wouldn’t be opposed to her opening a second location in North Jersey 😉. All I can say is just go there. You WON’T be disappointed. “First time customer here and let me say the NJ Instagram influencers got it right again. This little shop is amazing and I could see why it has been around for almost 100 years.

The staff here is welcoming and helpful and I got to sample some macaroons before purchasing. The coconut macaroons are 🔥. Some of the best I have ever had. It cost $22 a pound and you can mix and match. It cost $1 extra if you want it in a tub if you don't want a box. Definitely recommend getting the chocolate covered macaroons 😋. I also bought a bag of the huge chocolate chip cookies and those were also amazing.

They sell other items besides cookies, macaroons and macarons. They sell cupcakes, cakes, donuts, etc. This shop is clean and there is plenty of parking in the area.

This place is worth checking out, after spending a day at the beach or just passing through the area. I will definitely be back again in the future.“

“Sugar bakeshop provided the most beautiful baby shower cake for my daughters baby shower at Half moon point grill. Not only was it delicious, it was made with so much attention to the theme. Take a look at the photo, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Five stars, cake was fresh and moist and delicious. Great job, thank you. Update ; Sugar bake shop closed and new people took over the space. “Every beach day deserves a sweet ending.

After an incredible day near the Jersey Shore, my sister and I were looking for one last stop before heading back to North Jersey a place where we could grab something sweet for the ride home. Once again, Google pointed us in the right direction, leading us to Sweet in Belmar.

From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we had found something special.

The bakery sits in a charming little part of town, and inside was everything we didn’t know we were looking for. Between the beautifully decorated cupcakes and the nostalgic candy that instantly took us back to childhood, we couldn’t help but smile as we looked around.

The experience became even sweeter thanks to the owners. We had the pleasure of meeting the mother and daughter team, who were incredibly kind and genuinely excited to share the story behind their family bakery. We even learned they once lived in Delaware before returning to New Jersey to open their dream business. It’s always refreshing to meet people who pour so much love into what they do.

Of course, we couldn’t leave empty handed.

We picked up a Happy Birthday chocolate cupcake, a lemon cupcake, a red velvet cupcake, a princess cupcake, a strawberry crunch cupcake, and a mermaid cupcake.

The red velvet was my personal favorite rich, moist, and perfectly balanced. My sister absolutely loved the lemon cupcake. We also enjoyed the strawberry filled cupcake, and while we both wished it had just a little more cake to match the delicious strawberry filling and frosting, the flavor itself was wonderful.

As two people who grew up loving neighborhood bakeries, we’re always searching for places that remind us why local bakeries are so special. Sweet delivered exactly that. It wasn’t just about the cupcakes it was about the warmth, the conversation, the family atmosphere, and the obvious pride they take in every item they create.

If you find yourself in Belmar and you’re craving a cupcake, nostalgic candy, or simply want to support a wonderful family owned bakery, make this one of your stops.

We’ll absolutely be back. Some sweet treats are worth making the trip for, and Sweet definitely earned a place on our list.“

“If you're cruising through Uptown Asbury Park you must stop by here. Booskerdoo isn’t just your standard pitstop for caffeine; this is their main roasting mothership, and you can see (and smell when roasting) the serious business the second you walk up to the door.

Let's talk about that liquid gold. I ordered a hot latte with whole milk, finished off with a quick dusting of cinnamon over the foam. One sip and I was hooked, we’re talking a rich, velvety microfoam floating over espresso so balanced it could walk a tightrope. Naturally, because I never meet a light roast I don't like, I got a cup of their Guatemalan El Panal to go. Bright, clean, and really smooth. It’s proof these folks know exactly what they’re doing with a coffee bean. (I hope to get there some day in my micro roaster at home. lol).

Now, I didn't initially plan on grabbing a bite, but the pastry case is a complete trap. While those peanut butter and jelly bars almost lured me in, I ended up pairing my latte with a fresh cranberry scone.

It was a match made in coffee heaven. Flaky, tender, delightfully buttery, and studded with cranberries, it’s the exact kind of pastry that turns a quick coffee run into a full-blown Sit back and relax) lingering experience.

The real showstopper inside, though, is the giant Diedrich roaster sitting right out on the floor alongside literal pallets of green coffee beans. You see Booskerdoo beans popping up at spots all over the Jersey Shore, so seeing the actual industrial engine where the magic happens is really cool. My only minor tragedy of the day? The roaster wasn't firing while I was there. I would’ve loved to hear that machine humming and soak in the full aroma of fresh-roasting beans, but hey, that just gives me an excuse to come back tomorrow.“

“These cookies are so easy to prepare. They start out as frozen balls of cookie dough that you arrange on the included parchment paper then bake! After just 15 minutes, you have the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Moist and chewy with melted chips inside and a crisp, golden cookie finish on the outside. Delicious and made right here in NJ. Buy local, eat deliciousness!“

It was delicious, with so many possible combinations you really can't go wrong. During summer its a very popular spot so lines tend to build up but they move quickly.
