“Mav's Top Buns was absolutely wonderful as we went there for the first time in March 2026. We got a box of an OG, a blueberry crumb, thin mint and banana pudding. They were all absolutely delicious with just the right amount of doughiness and sweetness, without being overly sweet as many buns often tend to be. Service was terrific as well and the new owners are great people, who seem to truly care about both their customers and their staff. We'll definitely be back for more buns. Can't wait to see what flavors they come out with next!“

“Stopped by for breakfast after a hike around Rocky Point Trail. I had the ham and cheese croissant and my friends had the almond croissant. They were both phenomenal. I'm a savory fan so the thick salty ham at the center made me happy. The almond croissant had some chocolate and was decadent as well. The interior is so pretty with its pastries and decor. Service was quick and we were able to sit at their tables outside and enjoy our croissants in the nice weather.“

I came across Sophie C’s Sweets on Facebook and saw how talented she was. It fits in wonderfully with Red Bank’s culture even though it’s a recognized franchise brand and the coffee is delicious. The chocolate and strawberry croissants are very fresh. I love the modern aesthetic and layout mixed with the friendly atmosphere. I felt like I was in an high end “Mom and Pop shop”. It was also cleaner than most of the local coffee shops. She handled my issue with such impeccable customer service and resolved it immediately. “We were there on Monday of Labor Day Weekend and the staff and the place was amazing! You can imagine the rush when you go to a place like that on Labor Day weekend, add on top of that exhausted parents and over stimulated kids and it’s a recipe for disaster. Other times, their Iced Matcha Latte (also with oat milk) is just the right amount of refreshing that I need when stumbling into work there at Bell Works. But, if I'm really being honest, it is the staff there that keeps me coming back each day I work from the office. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in, greeted by name with my customary order already on its way to being made and I don't even need to give them my name or phone number for the loyalty program, such is their attention to customer service. “Fanagle has always been a local staple in Long Branch and admired by so many locals for decades. Yes, sometimes there are long lines… however, this is telling of the quality of food Fanagle provides. I’d be more concerned if the place was empty, which, it never is. Once again, a good sign.

It is an over the counter ordering establishment and the staff always brings you your order to your table if you have chosen to eat inside. Due to the increased traffic and long lines the staff can understandably be overwhelmed and most likely annoyed by the amount of rude customers that walk in there. In fact, they do a wonderful job dealing with people who are not so kind.

Krystal and team always say hello and I have never had a bad breakfast at Fanagle. The bagels are amazing, the breakfast sandwiches will cure anything in about 30 seconds and I love the old school vibe. The last thing we need in NJ is another bagel place that looks like a hospital serving hospital food and Fanagle feels like home.

Fanagle is the staple we all grew up with and will continue to be one of our favorite spots.“
