“From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. I will 100% be trusting all my future cakes to la bon from now on!“

“They have the best Korean Ice Coffee. We’ve been to two different Paris Baguettes, one in Red Bank and Long Branch. Both had terrible coffee and service. Here in Holmdel, they have the best coffee, pastries, and service. We drive from Red Bank once or twice a week just to get thier Korean coffee and pastries. Never had an issue, always clean, and amazing service. 100% recommend.“

“Mav's Top Buns was absolutely wonderful as we went there for the first time in March 2026. We got a box of an OG, a blueberry crumb, thin mint and banana pudding. They were all absolutely delicious with just the right amount of doughiness and sweetness, without being overly sweet as many buns often tend to be. Service was terrific as well and the new owners are great people, who seem to truly care about both their customers and their staff. We'll definitely be back for more buns. “Stopped by for breakfast after a hike around Rocky Point Trail. I had the ham and cheese croissant and my friends had the almond croissant. They were both phenomenal. I'm a savory fan so the thick salty ham at the center made me happy. The almond croissant had some chocolate and was decadent as well. The interior is so pretty with its pastries and decor. Service was quick and we were able to sit at their tables outside and enjoy our croissants in the nice weather.“

Diogo, Sara, and Jessi were all super friendly and made everything smooth—from the coffee to the pastries. The iced cappuccino was perfect, and the croissants were fresh and delicious.

But the highlight was this BEAUTIFUL cappuccino cake. Jenny did an amazing job writing “For Enzo’s Mom” on it, and the whole design looked unreal—like an actual cup of coffee! You can tell there’s real care and creativity behind it.
