“Been coming to this location for years. The customer service here is amazing. Tried the other Old Bridge location for free pretzel day. Call me crazy but I expected the pretzels from the same franchise to be the same in every way. They are not. While they have the same shape the outer crust seems different. Walmart has a thicker skin. The new location had a thin skin and much less salt plus they were overcooked. Both were good but I prefer the Walmart version much better. The new location looks like they are better equipped for large orders as they seem to have bigger ovens. Judge for yourself but for me it's about quality and service. I'll stick with Walmart for my business.“

My favorites thus far are the menemen and turkish coffee for meals / snacks, and just about every single dessert… especially the Turkish custard!! I also must say that the staff are superb. They treat every person like family. From the first time we went, they scooped up my son and pampered him with cookies. Now every time we go, they remember him and greet him with a warm smile. I am thrilled that Hamide has opened up close by and am looking forward to many many years of enjoying both their food and company.“

“The desserts and coffee at Pastry Lu are absolutely delicious and high quality. Over Thanksgiving, I enjoyed their apple pie which was magnificent and addictive. They always welcome you with a polite smile and when you look at all their desserts and pastries, you have to take your time because it’s hard to choose. You owe it to yourself to sit and eat your tasty delight there. They present your food and coffee in a beautiful wooden tray. It’s elegant and relaxing. I sat there today and felt as if I was in a European café. I had the strawberry cheesecake which was divine and the Mighty Mocha Hot Chocolate (a combo of coffee and hot chocolate). I added whip cream and fell in love with it. I’ll be going back. I had to refrain from getting two in a row. But this place is worth any extra holiday calories. I adore this bakery and am happy it’s in town. Also a great place to get a coffee or pastry on your way to the train since it’s right by NJ Transit. It’s perfect.“

My dad answered the door and had a pleasant conversation due to the friendly nature. So much so that he raved about it when I came home. Not only were the cupcakes delicious, well presented and enjoyed by all, the interactions with my family really made it all worthwhile. The door is not automatic, but does easily open, so you may be able to make it work. Entrance is flush with the concrete, the inside of the store is flat, with standing tables that would fit a wheelchair under. The counter and payment device is low enough that a wheelchair user can be seen, and pay without struggle.“
