“From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. I will 100% be trusting all my future cakes to la bon from now on!“

“They have the best Korean Ice Coffee. We’ve been to two different Paris Baguettes, one in Red Bank and Long Branch. Both had terrible coffee and service. Here in Holmdel, they have the best coffee, pastries, and service. We drive from Red Bank once or twice a week just to get thier Korean coffee and pastries. Never had an issue, always clean, and amazing service. 100% recommend.“

“Stopped by for breakfast after a hike around Rocky Point Trail. I had the ham and cheese croissant and my friends had the almond croissant. They were both phenomenal. I'm a savory fan so the thick salty ham at the center made me happy. The almond croissant had some chocolate and was decadent as well. The interior is so pretty with its pastries and decor. Service was quick and we were able to sit at their tables outside and enjoy our croissants in the nice weather.“

I came across Sophie C’s Sweets on Facebook and saw how talented she was. I messaged her on a Monday, asking if she’d be able to bake me a cake by the following Saturday, and to my surprise, she was able! Many different kinds of cream cheese and bagels to choose from. They also have a good selection of cold drinks too. The Servers give you service of smile. Not sure of what time they open but I know the close at 3 PM and it's a cash only business, but there is a ATM on the premises.
