“This is my closest local dunkin & we go through the drive-through almost every day. I have a serious matcha latte addiction & we prefer Dunkin’s drinks over the competition. “Booskerdoo Middletown donated hot chocolate for our local elementary school holiday event. It was such a hit! The kids loved the cocoa (peppermint and regular, mmmm) and it added such a special touch to the PTO organized family evening. Booskerdoo in general is great, but the Middletown location takes it a step beyond with their generosity, kind service, and personal touch from Jeff, the owner, who is almost always there making sure everything is running smoothly! You won’t get this type of caring and desire to be a part of the local community from just any coffee spot!

When they brought out the food he told me that he would bring the syrup. I had to ask him 2 times because he forgot. The pancakes were already cold. Never did we get more water. I get it!It happens. I also ordered pancakes to go but we were forgotten we had gotten our check and waited an extra 25 min. The food was good. Just sad todays service isn’t like it has been in the past.“

“My go to coffee spot whenever I visit Red Bank. The family I stay with try to take me to starbies and I MAKE THEM go to Rook. The staff were patient with my boomers who didn't understand the menu. I like that it's an in and out kinda place. Get your Joe and bounce! Rook crew, you RULE!!“

“The place was cute but lacked basic amenities like toilets or a sink for customers. It offered a variety of cakes and pastries with a dine-in option. I got a latte with cinnamon, but it felt like I was drinking cinnamon powder—it had way too much cinnamon. The coffee itself was very light; I would have preferred a well-balanced drink without an overwhelming amount of cinnamon. I didn't try any pastries this time, though they looked appealing, but they seemed a bit pricey. I might try them next time.“

“I love Hudsons !! Besides the Great coffee scones and muffins the workers are amazing always nice! You can sit outside and bring your dog a nice atmosphere! This time of year they make pumpkin donuts pumpkin coffee which is delicious hot or iced! And if we’re lucky enough we can get a couple of those pumpkin Whoopie pie sent over from Atlantic Highlands!!“

Despite previous reviews, there are sadly no gluten-free food options except pre-packaged cookies/nuts. However, still a nice place to grab some coffee.

“The coffee is good, but what they call “New Orleans style” is not really.New Orleans style coffee is more than just adding chicory. It’s a cafe au lait - aka coffee with warmed milk.You shouldn’t call it “New Orleans style” coffee if you don’t know that that is.“

“Incredible all around!!! We came in the middle of the week in the middle of May (cold week) so there wasn't a large crowd. We met Jennifer who is the perfect fit for this establishment. The menu is exciting (And I'm a meat guy) filled with fresh breads fresh spices, cheeses, and crispy salads. Food came out so fast. Place is so quaint and they worked hard to bring out that grandma's kitchen of the 70's and 80's. We went there everyday of our stay (walked there to offset the calories)

“It took us some time to sit but the food was SUPER good. We got the power omelette and the avocado toast. Best thing is their mugs, I LOVE the big cappuccino cup, so fulfilling and their French roast options are really special!

“if you want food that doesn't have junky additives, this is your store. Unlike other places that sell rotisserie chickens that are injected with sugary additives, the ones here are organic and have no unhealthy things added. Their bread is fresh. The choices in items are healthy. the only negatives about the store are 1) high prices and 2) some of the produce is old. We buy our produce at farms during seasonal bounty or else we buy it at Foodtown.“
