The silverware is not clean and the tables and floors are not clean. The tables nearby remain uncleared for the duration of our dining. “This is my go to place for coffee beans, roasted on premises. There is a good range of beans. I started with the summer blend and found that too mild. Then I switched to Brazil and am happy as a clam. And, the baked goods are delicious, vanilla scone topped with a dollop of icing. Yum!“

I didn’t have high expectations or anything but I was curious. And it is fabuloussssss - the New Orleans cold brew! I had New Orleans cold brew in New Orleans and always try it black first. When I did it had a very licorice bitter taste. Rook advertised theirs as dark chocolatey and that is what it truly was. I could drink it black but then I added oat milk and it is divine. Love love love! Thank you Rook! Come to NYC 😘“

“Welcome to the screamingest place on earth! To the immense credit of Grandma’s Cheese, the food dramatically improved from when they first opened. Food is amazing!! If you can get past the screaming out of control children and the loud talking adults, then you will love this place. I'm not a big coffee guy, but they have an Malt Cold Brew that I get with oat milk that is heavenly and surprisingly doesn't give me the jitters like so many others do. Other times, their Iced Matcha Latte (also with oat milk) is just the right amount of refreshing that I need when stumbling into work there at Bell Works. But, if I'm really being honest, it is the staff there that keeps me coming back each day I work from the office. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in, greeted by name with my customary order already on its way to being made and I don't even need to give them my name or phone number for the loyalty program, such is their attention to customer service.
