“So, we’re from boston and are visiting my son. Not too much to choose from around here in terms of restaurants. But suddenly I see a sign Minas Grill and went in just because of the word grill. It’s Brazilian! My heart is singing! Great coffee, the food is like home cooked. Loved the cheese bread and you can shop here too! Lovely warm people and so helpful! “Loved coming here for my morning coffee while staying near by for a business trip. It's cash only, so I was feeling lucky I happened to have cash as I don't always. As a seattle person the price was soooo reasonable. I had the Pumpkin Spice roast (flavored beans, as drip coffee) and the medium roast and both were excellent.

“We were invited to the friends and family breakfast the day before opening. We were all absolutely floored by this place and have already made a new tradition to come every sunday! The wait staff and INCREDIBLE, they are so sweet and so speedy! They were so considerate, turned the fire place off for us, and talked with our kids. The restaurant is clean, calm, almost beachy feeling. The most important...the food was absolutely amazing AND at an incredible price. “Just fabulous. I heard of Rook coffee frankly from Alix Earle on TikTok. Anyways I was in red bank and saw a sign and thought that might be that place she kept talking about.

I didn’t have high expectations or anything but I was curious. And it is fabuloussssss - the New Orleans cold brew! I had New Orleans cold brew in New Orleans and always try it black first. When I did it had a very licorice bitter taste. Rook advertised theirs as dark chocolatey and that is what it truly was. I could drink it black but then I added oat milk and it is divine. Love love love! Thank you Rook! Come to NYC 😘“

I think it’s the fact that every single ingredient is elevated and fresh, so the whole is way more than the sum of its parts. “Just a few minutes ago I ended up going to this Dunkin because by where I live they didn't have donuts left.
When I got here they had donuts but not enough with sprinkles and glaze for my grandchildren.
The man with light brown hair and light eyes didn't get his name overheard me telling my husband and he offered to dip them and add sprinkles. I couldn't believe it. Never has a Dunkin Donut shop done that for us. I am greatful and my Grandchildren will be so happy.
