“I have dined here multiple times. The food is always great as is the service. The restaurant has a cute vibe, however the last few times I have eaten here the restaurant has been extremely dirty. The silverware is not clean and the tables and floors are not clean. The tables nearby remain uncleared for the duration of our dining. “We were invited to the friends and family breakfast the day before opening. We were all absolutely floored by this place and have already made a new tradition to come every sunday! The wait staff and INCREDIBLE, they are so sweet and so speedy! They were so considerate, turned the fire place off for us, and talked with our kids. The restaurant is clean, calm, almost beachy feeling. The most important...the food was absolutely amazing AND at an incredible price. Don’t be fooled by new comer coffee shops in Asbury Park. If you want good fresh roasted coffee, look no further. Take the walk to 2nd Ave. The folks working are always kind and there is comfy seating if you want I stay. The iced coffee is god tier, probably the best I’ve ever had. Rich and flavorful but no bitterness. I’ve been coming here for years and have started bringing the beans home for when I’m not in town. I’ve ordered also from their website and deliver was fast and easy. Now when I have visitors at my home they remark at how good my coffee is, the best they say. I say yes, yes it is.“

“I purchased a new Jura ENA 8 from 1st In Coffee. I'm absolutely delighted in every way! This machkne is a magical piece of technology. It makes all coffee drinks PERFECTLY. I have a Gaggia Classic and could never make an espresso drink as good as the Jura. AND its fully automatic. It's truly impressive. Before pulling the trigger, I called some dealers. I was most impressed by Jim at 1st.
He was polite, patient, and he answered all my questions. The machine arrived within a few days in 100% perfect condition. This is an authorized Jura dealer for the last 22+ years. I called Jura Inc. and they confirmed this. Jura Inc. wasn't anywhere near as helpful as 1st! The actual manufacturer! I feel comfortable dealing with this company and look forward to doing business with them again for coffee and supplies.“

“Just fabulous. I heard of Rook coffee frankly from Alix Earle on TikTok. Anyways I was in red bank and saw a sign and thought that might be that place she kept talking about.

I didn’t have high expectations or anything but I was curious. And it is fabuloussssss - the New Orleans cold brew! I had New Orleans cold brew in New Orleans and always try it black first. When I did it had a very licorice bitter taste. Rook advertised theirs as dark chocolatey and that is what it truly was. I could drink it black but then I added oat milk and it is divine. Love love love! Thank you Rook! Come to NYC 😘“
