Don’t be fooled by new comer coffee shops in Asbury Park. If you want good fresh roasted coffee, look no further. Take the walk to 2nd Ave. The folks working are always kind and there is comfy seating if you want I stay. The iced coffee is god tier, probably the best I’ve ever had. Rich and flavorful but no bitterness. I’ve been coming here for years and have started bringing the beans home for when I’m not in town. I’ve ordered also from their website and deliver was fast and easy. Now when I have visitors at my home they remark at how good my coffee is, the best they say. I say yes, yes it is.“

“I have dined here multiple times. The food is always great as is the service. The restaurant has a cute vibe, however the last few times I have eaten here the restaurant has been extremely dirty. The silverware is not clean and the tables and floors are not clean. The tables nearby remain uncleared for the duration of our dining. “We were invited to the friends and family breakfast the day before opening. We were all absolutely floored by this place and have already made a new tradition to come every sunday! The wait staff and INCREDIBLE, they are so sweet and so speedy! They were so considerate, turned the fire place off for us, and talked with our kids. The restaurant is clean, calm, almost beachy feeling. The most important...the food was absolutely amazing AND at an incredible price. The portions are large and VERY affordable, while looking and tasting like high end breakfast. This place makes you feel rich, and will thankfully not give your bank account the bill.“

“I purchased a new Jura ENA 8 from 1st In Coffee. I'm absolutely delighted in every way! This machkne is a magical piece of technology. It makes all coffee drinks PERFECTLY. I have a Gaggia Classic and could never make an espresso drink as good as the Jura. AND its fully automatic. It's truly impressive. Before pulling the trigger, I called some dealers. I was most impressed by Jim at 1st.
He was polite, patient, and he answered all my questions. The machine arrived within a few days in 100% perfect condition. This is an authorized Jura dealer for the last 22+ years. I called Jura Inc. and they confirmed this. Jura Inc. wasn't anywhere near as helpful as 1st! The actual manufacturer! I feel comfortable dealing with this company and look forward to doing business with them again for coffee and supplies.“

“Food was really good and safe for Celiac, but they had a staffing issue and were out of some things. Food took quite long to get out. They were very friendly and apologetic and refunded us on one of our meals and said we could have additional food or drinks on the house to make up for it. My wife got one of their hats instead.

So we still got great service despite them seemingly having a rough day.“

It’s the perfect stop if you’re strolling along the Asbury Park Boardwalk—grab a seat, enjoy your brew, and take in the ocean view. Highly recommended—you won’t be disappointed! The only suggestion I have is to add some gluten free snack options.“

“This is my closest local dunkin & we go through the drive-through almost every day. I have a serious matcha latte addiction & we prefer Dunkin’s drinks over the competition. “My go to coffee spot whenever I visit Red Bank. The family I stay with try to take me to starbies and I MAKE THEM go to Rook. The staff were patient with my boomers who didn't understand the menu. I like that it's an in and out kinda place. Get your Joe and bounce! Rook crew, you RULE!!“
