“I tried out the Grind after lots of great reviews from people in the area. The place is definitely cute and parking is convenient. I stopped in to grab something to go, but it looks like the dining room had lots of people happily eating. While it was a busy morning (around 10am on a weekday) it did take quite some time to be acknowledged by the staff at the counter and I won’t day there was a warm and fuzzy kind of vibe that I’d get somewhere like Rook. It was pretty transactional and that’s about it. I went with a specialty latte (the Samoa cookie latte). I honestly didn’t realize it was iced when I ordered it, but that’s ok. I will say it was exceptionally sweet and more syrup flavor than actual coffee. I ended up adding loads of extra milk when I got home (and even added some as space cleared up—this thing was SWEET and syrupy). I maybe picked the wrong drink for me, so I’ll say that’s on me for sure. Got a few bagels, quite good and a Nutella pop tart…pretty good. Overall I wasn’t blown away by the service or drinks, but I want to give it another try. It could have been a crazy day and I could have picked the wrong drink for me. I’ll be sure to update this review in the future.“

“We were invited to the friends and family breakfast the day before opening. We were all absolutely floored by this place and have already made a new tradition to come every sunday! The wait staff and INCREDIBLE, they are so sweet and so speedy! They were so considerate, turned the fire place off for us, and talked with our kids. The restaurant is clean, calm, almost beachy feeling. The most important...the food was absolutely amazing AND at an incredible price. “Stopped by The Caffeine Haven on a Saturday morning and found a solid local spot to grab a coffee. Traffic along Route 9 was light, but this place seems like a convenient stop for anyone driving through Howell during a busy weekday commute.

I ordered a standard latte and it was made very well. The whole milk foam was steamed perfectly, resulting in a rich texture that had a natural sweetness to it. On a total impulse buy at the counter, I picked up a slice of their banana chocolate chip loaf from the pastry display. That turned out to be delicious and fresh.

They have a menu full of creative signature drinks that look interesting. While waiting, I noticed a couple of the baristas making one of the specialty options and commenting on how good it is themselves, talking about how good it came out. I am usually a bit cautious about how much sugar goes into those fancy specialty drinks, but I will probably try one on my next visit.

This is a very cool, comfortable spot with great coffee and quick service. It is well worth the trip if you need a reliable morning caffeine fix.

One other thing to add. They also sell their custom coffee blend in fresh roasted bags Ina a small merchandise shelf with shorts and fresh cut flowers as well.“

“Just fabulous. I heard of Rook coffee frankly from Alix Earle on TikTok. Anyways I was in red bank and saw a sign and thought that might be that place she kept talking about.

I didn’t have high expectations or anything but I was curious. And it is fabuloussssss - the New Orleans cold brew! I had New Orleans cold brew in New Orleans and always try it black first. When I did it had a very licorice bitter taste. Rook advertised theirs as dark chocolatey and that is what it truly was. I could drink it black but then I added oat milk and it is divine. Love love love! Thank you Rook! Come to NYC 😘“

Its just me that I dont like their donuts as they all taste the with that familiar aroma. Again, that's me. You have all you expect from a Dunkin so no change in the quality. They have a drive thru that is somehow tucked within limited lot space. Its a heavily trafficked by location to main roads with a traffic light at entry from 34. Be careful of parking and walking into store. The drive thru is very active making parking entry and exit challenging due to volume and driver choices. Slow and steady on feet and car. Just be aware of your surroundings. I usually get the 1lb packages of flavor led coffee. They have a special here with purchase if these coffees. Can't remember details but the 4lb total estimare comes out $30-$41 range. Staff is friendly and efficient and the property is well maintained.“

“Just the best little coffee shop around! I'm not a big coffee guy, but they have an Malt Cold Brew that I get with oat milk that is heavenly and surprisingly doesn't give me the jitters like so many others do. Other times, their Iced Matcha Latte (also with oat milk) is just the right amount of refreshing that I need when stumbling into work there at Bell Works. But, if I'm really being honest, it is the staff there that keeps me coming back each day I work from the office. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in, greeted by name with my customary order already on its way to being made and I don't even need to give them my name or phone number for the loyalty program, such is their attention to customer service.
