“Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, and has a wide variety of offerings at his shop. He told me that he experiments with different brewing methods (e.g. conical filter, flat filter, hybrid immersion drippers) for each coffee to ensure that every cup of coffee served is the best that it can be.As a former barista and coffee roaster, I can confidently say that Brandon puts more thought and care into each drink than the vast majority of cafes in NJ.I would highly recommend Brew Coffee Bar to anyone looking for a good coffee experience, but especially for people who will appreciate Brandon's extreme dedication to his craft.“

“I don’t often leave reviews, but this cafe is a must try! The atmosphere and staff are pleasant and relaxed. You order at the register, and help yourself to seating of your choice. The food is amazing — with breakfast and lunch options available. Highly recommend the signature lattes (we got coco loco and white chocolate tiramisu). The cinnamon rolls are out of this world! The food is prepared perfectly, the portions are large, the coffee is great, the service is quick and friendly, and prices for all that are quite reasonable.I love this place!We were among the earliest customers on this, their 1st day of reopening, following a month closure for renovations in both the kitchen and dining areas. The food was excellent (as usual), the service was the same high standard we have come to enjoy, the prices remain competitive, and the new look is modern & refreshing. This is still my favorite breakfast/brunch place.“

Tastes better than Starbucks with the added benefit of supporting a local shop.The Newport is my go to with oatmilk and sweet cold foam and they never miss. I’m a slow coffee drinker and my drink tastes good even after an hour with the regular ice cubes. It doesn’t taste watered down.I mostly do a mobile order as I leave my house and my coffee is always ready for me when I arrive. I love that I don’t have to wait especially when they get so busy.“

“Very good breakfast. Hit the spot. Went around 10:30 place was full but was able to get a seat pretty quickly. I had a belly buster omelet and my mother had eggs over easy with a ham steak. We both had coffee. Hers was nice mine was hot. Our bill was roughly 10 dollars cheaper than most of the breakfast places we go to, only catch is CASH ONLY - but super worth it.“

“Just stopped in to grab their soup and some ice cream.I couldn't decide on just one soup so I got 2, the vegetable & lobster bisque and they are both so good. The flavors are delicious, the amount & variety of vegetables in the veggie soup are perfect. The lobster bisque it was a great portion of soup & lobster.Also, I've had there ice cream several times but always go back for my favorite Almond Joy.Their staff is always welcoming and pleasant too every time.Love this little gem in Keyport.“

“Turning Point is a GREAT place for breakfast or brunch. They close at 2 so I haven’t visited for lunch yet. The food is excellent, the decor is modern a bright, and the service is top notch. “Came here on a late afternoon and service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and best of its kind in the far area. We ordered phyllo stuffed with meat, a fish platter and a kofta platter. The phyllo was light, packed with stuffing, and cooked to perfection. Both platters came with rice, which was cooked well and seasoned nicely, and a side salad which had fresh lettuce and vegetables. The kofta and fish were flavorful and paired perfectly with the rice and salad. Overall a great place with kind staff and owners -- definitely a must try.“

“in november i was taking a walk and suddenly i felt very disoriented and light headed and my heart was pounding. i came here and ordered an egg cheese ham bagel and got an arizona iced tea thinking maybe i was hungry or my blood sugar was low. but i still felt this way for an hour or 2 and i was seeing stars. they told me the store was closing and they were cleaning up and i told them what was happening and the owner asked if i needed an ambulance and i said i couldnt make the walk back home as it was super dark and it was already hard to see because of my vision being dim and i didnt know if i would pass out, and i told him i didnt have a ride home and he said his wife would be leaving work soon and she could drop me off, but i didnt want to trouble him so i said it was okay and i managed to get my dad to drop me off at my house. very sweet people, i am glad they showed care.“

I got half ice but ended up regretting that because it understandably did not have a lot of ice in it, which was my choice, and therefore was not very cold. The drink itself was amazing! “Walked in to grab 4 Boxes of Joe on a cold and sad day (for funeral) a few before closing. Frank took my order quickly and received help by the two young ladies while working the drive thru. These 3 hustled so well together helping each other out. To my surprise, the manager Mike came back in as he was leaving (jacket and hat on) to bag up the milk/cups/ sugar , etc and brewed the first batch to support them.
