“My husband and his family have gotten food from Sandy (owner) since he was a little boy and now he is in his 40s with a family of his own. Even though we don't live close by for delivery anymore, we still order from them and I will go and pick up the food. Their food is delicious, the price are reasonable and the service is great. Sandy and her team are awesome. When I go to pick up my food and get to watch her in action, it amazes me how she remembers her customers' names, thus the loyalty she gets from repeated customers. She is so nice too. Not only do we order food for our meals, I also like to order her food for parties that I host. Price are reasonable and my guests always compliments the food. Less cooking I need to worry about. Some of our favorites when we order are: general tso chicken, fried wonton (my husband only like hers), sum gum lomein, pork fried rice, chicken wings, boneless spare ribs (one of the best...i tried other places... not the same), spare ribs, stir fry pork bean sprout (i don't see this on other Chinese food menu), sweet and sour chicken. Shrimp egg foo young, and her soups. We tried other items on her menu, but these are our favorites.“

“I sat at the bar of this Thai inspired restaurant; I highly enjoyed my visit under the care of Ivan. 12-3pn they host a 3 course prix fix menu, of which I chose the hot& sour soup, the watercress shrimp dumplings, and the Singapore noodles. My drinks were top notch and the service alike. Ivan made the perfect amount of small talk while serving the best examples of the drinks to offer, all while taking special care of each individual seated at his bar. The food was great, although I prefer the Thai palate, the food was flavorful and tamed to accommodate an American palate. I'd highly recommend this gem to anyone coming to park, especially during this 12-3 period. Ivan prepared perfect renditions of the signature Golden Lotus as well as a superb old fashioned.“

“Isn't really a fine in place say can't say the atmosphere is amazing. But I enjoy the food very much so. The appetizers are great and well-proportioned. I particularly like the boneless ribs. Portions are normal for a take out place. Don't have any complaints, if you are looking for solid, well priced chinese in the Croydon area then you just found it.“

“I’ve been looking for a local chinese restaurant ever since the one we went to burnt down. After driving a lot further than I prefer I found this hidden gem. My orders are generally simple general tso, sweet and sour chicken, and shrimp and broccoli. But you’d be surprised how different or how bad they can be from place to place.
The portions here were great and the food delicious! Even had chop sticks and free kiwi candies!

Staff was friendly and the food was cooked and ready for pick up in under 20 mins. Plenty of parking in the back.

“I got the barbecue ribs and the flavor is great, I'm not a big fan of peas in my fried rice but their fried rice is okay. The soup looks really good, and they gave me the crispy wonton noodles. They also let me swap my egg roll for a spring roll which I prefer so that was really nice. The people that work in that shop are super nice and very helpful. I found out that they do actually deliver within a 5 mi radius. I think it'll be easier for me to order delivery next time parking was a bit of a pain.“

“We called for delivery and waited an hour and the driver still hadn’t showed. We called them and they said they were very busy and we would have to come pick it up. At first I was angry but then I got there and saw how busy they were. The lady was very nice and gave me 2 dollars back and a free 2 liter of Pepsi and was very apologetic. Food is great but sometimes you just need to be patient when they’re slammed. It’s a small restaurant.“

“I don’t understand the complaints. I always got really great food here. The general tso’s tofu was always great. The wonton soup was as well. In this area specifically, this is one of the best around. I don’t know if the same person is working the cash register, but a little boy always rung me up and he was perfectly kind. While also doing his homework on the job. The whole family was always very sweet to me.

“I would like to share a bit of a positive thing that happened. I went to Classic Asia (AKA BEST PLACE EVER) and ordered take-out Shrimp Pho soup. When I got there, the woman (who is already so nice) told me they didn't accept AMEX cards. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash on me. So I said, "okay I'll be right back, I'll go grab cash!" Her reply was " No no, don't worry about it. Next time you order just tell us it's you! I couldn't believe it. I was like HUH?! How is someone being this kind ?!? I told her, she was insanely sweet and that I would be right back with cash payment. She goes "okay but don't rush, go and eat first and just come back whenever!" Don't worry i called as soon as I got home! How amazing are they?? This was super special to me, because I have MS and sometimes have issues walking and standing. “Really yummy! Ideal Chinese takeout. I got the steamed dumplings and the sesame chicken combo and everything was delicious and well seasoned! Very flavorful. The dumplings were homemade and you could tell from the thick chewy skin. The egg roll was quite oily but everything else was outstanding so that was fine. Special shout out to the dumpling sauce - I want to know how to make it!! So delicious. Take your own sauces too which I love. I always want extra. Took a while but that was because everything was being made from scratch! Big portions too, this is feeding me for lunch the next day too and I still have a bit left for a snack!“

“Called ahead of time & someone told me the meal I wanted to order was gluten free. Ordered on door dash & they immediately called me to tell me it’s not gluten free and that they will make me my own sauce. They said it also comes with egg rolls that aren’t gluten free and they will put in a free soda to make up for the cost. Not only amazing service, but it was DELICIOUS & came so quick!

The guy who ordered for me was very polite, and when I told him that it was for three girls, he also suggested that I order less.
