“This place is our go-to Applebee's. My kid loves this place, and we all love the food at this location. We have tried another location, and the food quality was nothing in comparison. If you are out and about and looking for a bite to eat this is the place to go.

“Our waitress took our order, we ordered 2 22 Oz Bud Lights and burgers. They had to change out the kegs so we actually got our food before the beers. Our waitress apologized for the wait so many times. She was so sweet. Not her fault. She was very pleasant and accommodating. Our burgers were great as always. Shit happens. I hope she is shown this. She was awesome.“

Colby was our server and he was really busy but he kept making sure that we had everything that we needed in a timely manner. He was very good at serving us! “I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. Adam & Jenny, thank you for my birthday dinner one to remember!💖“

“We had such a fantastic experience at Illata in Philadelphia! From start to finish, everything felt special, and a big part of that was our amazing waitress, Mary — she was attentive, warm, and really elevated the whole evening with her thoughtful service.

The menu offered some unexpected surprises, and the standout for us was the carrot dish. It was hands down the highlight of the night — it almost felt like a savory take on carrot cake, rich and flavorful in the most delightful way. The trout was a pleasant surprise too; it leaned more toward the texture and richness of salmon, and honestly, it was one of the best fish dishes we’ve had in a while.

And we can’t forget the desserts — they absolutely blew us away. The rhubarb tart was perfectly balanced, and the chocolate cake was decadent without being too heavy. A perfect ending to a memorable meal!

I chanced on this place one day for the pizza... got brocciole pizza and spices, and potato pizza- outstanding selection and the best or as good as the best pizza I've had. Crust and flavor combination was perfect. I came back 2 nights later to try other dishes... I ordered gnocchi because this shows quality in a restaurant- I've had many bad gnocchi dishes- Alice restaurant was the most perfect gnocchi I have ever had in a restaurant. only home made is better. The texture was perfect and soft. spice perfectly blended. I asked to add sausage... made a perfect meal. The Gelato on top of the small tart was superb. they make their own gelato... quality is excellent. Anna, our server was outstanding. her people skills and customer service would make the owners proud to represent them. Only draw back was that our bar seats were a bit uncomfortable. it is a bit cramped in there. they need a bigger space. absolutely loved this place!!!!“

Our server, Max, was very personable and gives very good recommendations. Max is not the only server like this. It seems to be the culture there. They have a lot of loyal customers. When we left the was a couple looking for a place to eat and watch the game. I quickly recommended Glory. If in Old City and near Chestnut and 2nd give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.“

The S'mores cookie pie dessert was simply amazing! Service was exceptional (Kyle was the ideal server! polite, friendly, gracious and attentive - thank you so much). “Me and My lady went here on a whim. I mean literally Caraba’s next door had over an hour wait and this place caught my eye. It was something different outside of our norm. So we went, the experience was amazing. The service was top notch, actually some of the best customer service I ever had. Was way beyond expectations, can’t say enough good things about Bree our server. She was quick, on top of things and had no problem explaining anything we wanted to know about the large variety of stuff they have on the menu and us never going there before. She talks to you and treats you like you are part of the family and she knows you,very friendly. Now for the food, again fast food but definitely better than expected. Very reasonably priced and good. Everything was fresh and good. The shakes were some the best we ever had. If I could give this place ten stars I would. Has an arcade and mini golf! What more could anyone ask for. Keep it up! Everyone there was friendly and wanted to be there. I told the host when we were walking out this place is excellent. He said that’s what we wanna hear,hope to see you here again next week at the same time Jokingly. This all Says a lot! We will be going back here many times to come. 👌“
