“Amazing!!!!! The pho and ramen were perfect, this is my favorite spot in philly for a noodle soup. The owner was so sweet too and she gave us excellent service. The place is very small and cozy but so cute! Highly recommend, a hidden gem! They also deliver on all the big food delivery service apps and it's always fresh and delicious!“

“My fiancé and I came here to eat and I must say that the aesthetics here are so cute! The staff are friendly and their food is delicious! For apps: I recommend trying the steamed pork gyoza and Italian egg roll. For tacos: I recommend the tofu taco. It’s very crispy and moist. The ramen is good as well. For drinks I recommend the jasmine lemon green tea. We definitely would come back! :)“

“Had dinner at Tomo for the first time tonight and it was wonderful. The restaurant itself is cozy and warm. The food was outstanding and the service is top tier. I will recommend them to everyone I know looking for good appetizers, ramen, and sushi. My partner and I are vegan and there are absolutely enough vegan things on the menu.“

“My husband and I had a pleasant lunch here the other day. We were immediately greeted and the staff explained the menu to us both. It was very clean and service was efficient. I really enjoyed my soup, the broth had a good amount of spice without being overwhelming. My husband also loved his sushi rolls and finished everything, no leftovers! We definitely recommend eating at Mari Mari, and will most likely return someday.“

“Okay. I stopped by this place on a Sunday evening while on a business trip. My general rule of thumb is to not judge a restaurant based on Sunday or Mondays. That being said, this restaurant is the exception to the rule. I had the pork belly buns and the aka Ramen. The flavors in both of these were amazing. You should definitely give this place a shot. The broth in the Aka Ramen is simmered for 36 hours! Also, prices were very reasonable. The restaurant itself is on the smaller size but nicely appointed. The server was efficient and attentive. Can't say enough nice things about this place.“

“Very friendly service and a fantastic atmosphere and decor. All the food was good, but some were better than others (the spicy miso ramen stood out as great, while I wasn't as big of a fan of the seafood ramen, but the others in my group enjoyed it so maybe I'm an outlier). Definitely recommend going here.“

“Their lunch special is a great value and the rolls were good without the deal too. the tuna in the tuna roll was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful.the atmosphere felt really casual so it might not be great for a nice date, but any other sushi need would be well met “

“I had went with some friends to Chika Ramen Bar for the first time. I had originally doubted the food given the very interesting, futuristic, Blade-Runner-esque theme, though I was pleasantly surprised. Though I had originally, believed, all of this restaurant's pull had been contributed to the ambiance, the food was extremely something to die for. The miso soup ramen with chashu tasted fresh, new, and had helped ease my original concerns. The Karage chicken tasted tender, without any dry pieces. Finally, the servers felt down-to-earth, without them forcing you to leave in a hurry. The overall ambiance, service, and food were something I would definitely consider with friends again.“

“Very comfortable place to be. Started out with edamame and then had the beef ramen. The biggest adjective I could use for this meal was fresh and definitely flavorful. There were so many dimensions to the flavor. Normally at certain Ramen places I only taste salt. Here with the Ramen every ingredient stood out. Definitely will come back. I recommend not only their Ramen but try their dumplings too. Obviously their edamame was awesome as well.“

“I'll be sad to see this place go, it's been a staple for me since I moved to Philly in 2017...I was hungry around 1am and it was one of a few places open lol. The ramen always slaps and I've cultivated some great friendships over hot, steaming bowls of broth and noodles. This is also the place that introduced me to Taiwan Mazesoba (brothless ramen, affectionately known as Maz here lol). Everyone that works here is a vibe, I truly love it here“

“HANDS DOWN BEST RAMEN IN THE CITY. The pork was melting in my mouth. The tonkatsu broth is yummy. The service is lovely. Just an amazing amazing experience. Will definitely be back again. Haven't had ramen this good since San Francisco. This place is a MUST. And a nice portion size. And the price was very very affordable for 2 people. $36 before tip. With edamame and sparkling flavor soda. Soooo good. Like pop your tongue good. Smoke a cigarette after and I don't even smoke. Just delicious“

“Our second time here; first time ordering takeout. All our food was prepared nice and tasted delicious. The one thing I noticed is that the fish pieces, draped over the sushi donuts, were very thin.... much thinner than when we ate in six months prior. I probably wouldn't get any items that could be loaded with rice and lacking the protein.Parking: Finding convenient parking nearby could take a very long time. Pickings are slim.“

“Um my first time here it was two of my children and myself. One whom of which loves Japanese culture a lot! Their food he wasn't ready for though! Lol! Ultimately he dis enjoy his ramen a lot as did I. It's really good. They're nice enough...and it's all authentic as I believe it to be.“

“This restaurant was an average experience with service being hit-and-miss and the food being about average for an Americanized Japanese restaurant. The food all tastes good, but it was relatively plain. The servers were all pretty young and occasionally inattentive. I am surely one that likes the staff to leave me be from time-to-time, but waters were often empty and you pretty much had to flag them down when you needed anything, even though the restaurant was only 25% full on a Friday evening. I would say that the Ramen bowls were good, but the miso-based udon bowls were relatively tasteless. What surprised me the most was that they didn't have any of the normal spicy sauce additives for the Ramen bowls, which are usually sitting on the table at typical Ramen bars. When I asked, they only had Siracha sauce as an option...which wasn't preferred, but did make the Ramen tastier when stirring it in. Again, the food was average, but would likely try another one of the many establishments throughout China town next time.Vegetarian options: There were limited vegetarian options, which is relatively expected in a typical Ramen restaurant. The reason that I was eating vegetarian was it was a Friday in Lent. That said, the vegetarian options were cleared labeled as such in English, which is helpful. I will also say my vegetarian ramen was tasty, one I added in the Siracha sauce.Kid-friendliness: I would not say this place is either kid friendly, or not. It is a typical restaurant that is at least not off-putting for families with kids. I brought my daughter with me, who enjoyed herself.“

“Very pleased with my lunch at this Ramen Spot. Food came fast. The place is clean. Definitely eating there again. I had the popcorn chicken platter...very good. Depending on your taste palette, some might think it's to salty, but as for me it was ?.“
