“I found them online. When I called I spoke with Andrew the owner. He immediately put my mind at ease was willing to work with everything that I had wanted to, even took the time to stay on the phone with me while we were both online checking out pictures of different platters and different options to have. I threw myself a surprise 50th birthday party, and I wanted to have something different besides the normal Italian buffet. What I want to show you is absolutely spectacular, and as beautiful as it looks it doesn't compare to the taste. They were so professional brought in these beautiful heavy metal platters with serving spoons, tongues, and they also brought chopsticks soy sauce and a spicy male sriracha. I ordered a Kani salad and a Seaweed salad to go along with the different platter that I wanted. It was truly an amazing experience. Don't sleep on the opportunity to hire them to cater your next event. Mine was about a hundred people, and again I had other food but this was definitely the star of the show.“

I’m a huge fan of local mom & pop Italian deli’s…good thing there’s a plethora of these here in Bergen County.

I perused the menu before heading over as I recently took a job not far from here and saw the description of a sandwich on their website that really jumped out to me. It was their #30 aka Arthur Ave. It consisted of chicken cutlets, topped with hot soppressata, fresh mozzarella and house made pesto on a crusty seeded Italian hero loaf.

I’m all too familiar with having gotten many a sandwich that sounded fantastic on paper but was disappointed in the end result due to either poor execution or just ingredients that didn’t pass muster. That was not the case with this sandwich. You could tell every component was high quality from the amazing chicken cutlets (which on their own are delicious), fresh house made mutz, house made pesto, high quality Soppressata to the locally sourced fresh baked bread. These combined to make an amazing sandwich and I enjoyed every bite.

Seeing the size of the sandwich, I fully expected to save half for later…yeah no chance of that happening as I killed the whole thing in one sitting. The cherry(s) on top (as seems to be the rule, not the exception at establishments of this ilk) were the awesome people/family that runs the place. Absolutely wonderful people and service with a genuine smile that reveals how much they truly enjoy what they do.

“I lived in Waldwick for many, many years and one thing i miss is going to Bagel Nosh. I worked in NYC and would pick up bagels to bring in for corporate functions. The staff and owner are fantastic! The bagels are the best! I have even flown back to NJ, gotten a car and drove to Bagel Nosh just so i could fly back to my new state with Bagel Nosh Bagels. The bagels are the best!“

“My husband and I had breakfast here today and had a wonderful experience. The place was full of locals and the employees knew people by name and even joked with them. When we walked in there was only a big table in the back so we just sat at the counter. My husband and I both ordered the 2 eggs with potatoes, toast and sausage. He ordered the sausage patty while I got the links. Everything was tasty. The iced tea seemed very popular as it's homemade. I never ran out of coffee. “Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

“Mrs. Bae and her team at Garden kitchen are the absolute best around. My wife and I stop by the store every chance we get to pick up their delicious food to-go. Some of our favorites are their yubuchobap, spicy pork, braised beef short ribs, and all of their soups/stews.

In fact, we enjoyed the food so much that we asked them to cater our wedding! Having grown up in Korea, I knew that I wanted Korean food that reminded me of home for my wedding, and boy did they deliver. Mrs. Bae drafted up a menu of Garden Kitchen is unique in that they not only have incredibly delicious food, but also a team of deeply caring staff. They took such great care of us and went above and beyond to make our wedding special.

We were treated like family the minute we walked through the door and Les & Marty made all our dreams come true, like two proud Jewish uncles!! “Ordered via TooGood2Go for a mystery bag for a 1 PM pickup. I got there a little early but they were nice enough to give me my bag. For $5.99, I ended up with a dozen assorted bagels. They gave me a good mix in there too, and the bagels were fresh from that morning. I could tell because I ripped into a piece in the car and it was still soft. There was everything, salt, plain, whole wheat, sesame, cinnamon raisin, and blueberry. This actually put me on to blueberry bagels because that's not something I would have ordered before. I froze most of them and a pop in the toaster oven makes it almost as good as new.
