“Very nice fried chicken restaurant. Friendly and fast service. 15 mins for fresh chicken. Limited drink selection for diet sodas, just diet coke. Would be nice to have diet dr pepper and/or diet rootbeer. Also would be nice to have Joes Tea. This is a good alternative to Popeyes and KFC if you want to try something different.Prices are good. Free parking. Lots of parking in the back near walgreens.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Really enjoyed the food from Bloom Chicken.

The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.

The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.

For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.

Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.

Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“

The only issue I had was that the popcorn chicken wasn't as amazing as the lamb!The dining area is clean, and my only regret is that I didn't come here sooner (mostly because I don't usually carry cash and they only take cash)!
