“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. “I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!“

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. “This is a great restaurant. It's casual but the food is very high quality and delicious! My son had the Lava Chicken Shawarma Arabic and I had the Vegan Arabic Sandwich. We got the combo for each (with fries and a drink) and the total price was $40. The vegan sandwich was amazing - lots of vegetables and falafel - all seasoned wonderfully. I think it is the best vegan sandwich I ever had. The chicken shawarma was great too - and plated up beautifully. The restaurant's atmosphere is serene and relaxing. A++.“

“Had an excellent experience at Proof & Prov in Englewood. If you’re a pizza person, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Their Detroit-style pizza is seriously impressive—the crust has that perfect combination of a crispy, cheesy edge with a light and airy interior. It’s not the heavy, overly greasy square pizza you might expect.

I also love that they put a creative spin on their menu while still keeping the classics strong. From the traditional pepperoni to more adventurous combinations, there’s a lot here for both the classic pizza lover and someone who wants to try something different.
