“Place was hard to find but well worth it, there were almost 10 restaurant concepts in one place. You can order in a kiosk from all the different restaurants and they prepare it and bring it to your table. The server/ business owner is amazing and I will definitely be back. I even called a few people to tell them to come while I was there“

Lamb Gyro Platter

“Awesome place for late night Halal food. Guy working was super polite and nice. Food came out quickly. Room was empty, lit with lanterns and had jazz music playing. Food was delicious. I got the lamb and chicken halal platter. Place is on the second floor of the mini indoor/outdoor mall, through a door and down the hall. There is a touchscreen to order on.“

Halal Fried Chicken

“We were visiting Atlantic city and wanted to find a halal place to eat while going back to the North. We found this place and ordered 3 platters and fries. The platters were like same as every where but we like the chicken more than lamb. Anyway. When we entered the restaurant, there was a guy paying cash and getting his food. 2 mins later he left, he came back and said he wants his money back and returned the bited chicken back. The cashier gave his money immediately asked nothing. This was first incident. The second incident was there was a guy and said he only wants small rice no meat and he ordered it before. The cashier was surprised but apparently one of the workers gave him before once. They gave his rice and drink and then the owner told him "this is your last time buying only rice. You need to pay full because we are not selling only rice we have menues". The guy insisted giving extra and told the owner "I dont want your help, tell me how much I need to pay" even though the owner said "no, you dont need to pay anything extra this time". And the guy was so loud. After a little argument between them the guy said, I will give your extra 50 cents. He went back to his car and brought 50 cents and shouted "I am not the only one not coming back, all the blacks are not coming back"! Really? How come you turn this to the race issue again? And the people working there and the owner are all immigrants and the black guy suddenly played the victim and turn the incident into a racist treatment. It was crazy. We were in shock because as I said earlier we are not living in the area. And then there was a 3rd incident. A woman came and she said she bought the food yesterday and did not like it and wants her money back. The lady working there said "this is not our box" and the woman called her "insane" she literally said "this woman is insane I dont want to talk to her and want my money back". The lady told her "you said you bought this yesterday and bringing it now at night time" the woman raised her voice, her voice was loud but steady. She claimed she is working at 2 jobs and did not have time. The cashier asked her how much she paid for the food and the woman said "6.99 I guess and plus tax" and when cashier giving her money back she insistly asked the lady's name. Then the owner came and said "you wanted your money back and you got it, leave the lady alone" and then she was like "this is the worst customer service, I will never come here again" and left. Can you believe in 30 mins the restaurant had to deal with 3 different and for me very weird customers. I felt sorry for the owner. If one of those people write comment, I want you guys know the truth!“

“During my visit to Atlantic City from New York, I discovered Raj Mahal, a Pakistani restaurant offering halal cuisine. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were respectful and accommodating despite the busy evening.

Although there was a brief 30-minute wait for our food, the dishes were well worth it. Each bite was bursting with authentic Pakistani flavors, making it a delightful dining experience.

If you’re in Atlantic City and craving Pakistani food, Raj Mahal is definitely worth a visit. I look forward to returning soon!“
