“I went on a weekend trip to the shore and needed to go to Walmart to grab a few things. I decided to get some sushi from the nearest location and was met with one of the best experiences I’ve had at a sushi restaurant.

The service itself was quick, taking only 5~ minutes to complete my entire order. The food was fresh, generously portioned, and it only cost us $20 for two rolls, an appetizer, salad and soup. The meal ended up being so good that I drove 25 minutes that same day to taste it again. All the employees had a big smile on their faces when we walked back in, and I left with a 10% coupon if we decided to go again.

Fantastic sushi, rapid service, hard to beat prices, and a bunch of welcoming smiles. Next time I visit Jersey, this will be my first stop.“

“I have always loved it here however, like many other restaurants, every single aspect of dining here has gone way, way down in just about every category since COVID. A real shame. Food is now mediocre, service is rushed after the 20 minute wait to get a server to come to your table for the 1st time. So unfortunate. This place used to be THEE BEST SUSHI around.“

“I've always loved this place. I have been coming here since I went to high school (and I graduated in 2014). Such delicious food, and such a great price point. I know things were cheap back then but this is still pretty cheap! About $5.50 for a teriyaki chicken bowl? They fill the container and give plenty of rice. I used to come here everyday for lunch or to bring a bunch back home. My friends and their families get this too! Truly a hole in the wall and rare place that serves great food at completely reasonable prices. High recommended.“

“The services and food are exceptional. Except! to my opinion the DJ played the music in a restaurant is like he DJ in a night club I think is not suitable, a classy 4 stars restaurant should have more classy atmosphere than a night club atmosphere. Also please bring back the seaweed salad!!!“

“Had dinner here and enjoyed the meal! The maki sushi entree was good and the veggie tempura was crisp and light. The mango avocado salad had a beautiful presentation as well as being delicious (wish I had a picture).

Dessert was amazing. I would recommend the yuzu cheese cake and mango crepe cake - both fresh and delicious.“

“Not much seating inside and all other food is decent, but Fuji has the best sushi around hands down. I’ve been to dozens of sushi restaurants and the fish here is always fresh/ rice is consistently good. We usually order miso soup, salmon, yellowtail, and white tuna sushi. The million roll is tasty and I always love a nice futo maki roll.

“Had a great time. Food was amazing. We sat at a habatchi table so the food was cooked in front of us. But there was also tables were you can sit on your knees on pillows. The only thing i didnt know was they charge you for a refill on your drink everytime you get one. They dont tell you. Luckly i only got 1 refil.“

“Fresh, fast sushi. Ichiban isn't a hotspot to go out to eat, but is perfect for takeout. Their sushi is always fresh and they have fun special rolls as well as excellent classics like yellowtail scallions and tuna jalapeno. This is my go-to local sushi place.“

“From now on, this is my must go to in AC! I love high quality sushi and this hit the mark! The fish was tender, not a single piece of fat like you see in cheaper places, amazing presentation, delicious sauces. We loved that everything was small plates and we could try a lot of stuff. My wife doesn't eat seaweed and they were able to replace it with soy paper in rolls. Our drinks were delicious and the waitress was very lovely and helpful and made some fantastic recommendations! “Yama II sushi is the best! Probably my 5th time here in a month...best quality sushi...happy hour prices...great service (we love Joyce!) Angel Hair roll (the brianne way) the best...out of control roll, Hello Kitty roll, mango lovers roll...I could go on and on!! A def must try!! Kids love the rice bowls!! No need to dress up... “I was running around all afternoon and landed here for a quick lunch. I got the chicken and broccoli with spicy chicken and fried rice combo. The bourbon chicken is miles ahead of the chicken and broccoli. The spicy chicken was very very spicy but I really like it. I was glad I decided to get a coke to wash it down with.“

We came here on a Saturday night and got a table right away with no waiting. \nIt was a damp, wet, cool, day and some wonton soup was much needed, followed by fried dumplings, a shrimp tempura roll and two pieces of ebi roll. All were good, tasty and hitting the spot.\n\nFor our main course we shared a beef and broccoli and a chicken fried rice. Both dishes were plenty to share and did have extra for take home. \n\nOverall, good quick service, sushi chefs busy, nice menu of Japanese, Thai and Chinese. Good flavorful food and did satisfy the tastebuds. And BYOB is always a great way to dine out. Plus plenty of free parking in the ShopRite parking lot!!!\n\nWe will be back!!!🥢🥢🥢🥢“
