“The heart and soul of this restaurant is in their workers- such lovely young women working for the two female owners; I hope they know how blessed they are to have such an amazing staff. Besides the coffee and food being delicious and allergy friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and well lit - a goos place for lunch or breakfasy or to hanf with some friends. Their menu isnt huge but it is tastey and well designed. You can order with them on grubhub as well, but I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant to see their smiling faces and enjoy the flowery ambiance which always put me in a better mood. Theyre highly personable and make a person want to stop in. Their home-made baked goods are delicious. My biggest hope for this restaurant is that it's being well managed so that the staff wants to stay, so it keeps having that personal, delightful touch.“

“Incredible coffee. Pour over is super smooth and best I've ever had. Staff experienced with all things coffee and use specific equipment and timers to make sure the coffee comes out with the best flavor. Not usually one for the finesse of coffee making but the outcome will definitely have me coming back again.“

“I ordered catering for my birthday event last weekend and the food was amazing! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. I know I can count on them for providing exemplary food as well as service. Thank you, Anthony and his team for making my birthday memorable!“

“This is a very beautiful breakfast cafe. If you need to grab and go you can or bring your lab top if you need to get some work done.The pastries are amazing and customer service is always excellent.I bring my children at least twice a week.I highly recommend the blueberry croissant and the hazelnut cortado.enjoy“

“A gem in the neighbourhood. A friend and I were visiting Jersey City from South Africa and NDP was just down the road from our B&B. We had the most wonderful dinner there, with James, the owner explaining how he and his wife started the little restaurant. The food was exceptional and we were able to order a bottle of wine from a winery close by, which was delivered in minutes. Absolutely worth a visit!“

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“I've been looking for a local, full service coffee shop that roasts their own beans, sells coffee/espresso, as well as offers breakfast and lunch.**This IS that place**I couldn't tell from their website, but the posts I saw on insta showed that they serve food, and I'm happy to report that it tastes as good as it looks!Very friendly staff and accommodating. Although it's currently the middle of December, I wanted a macchiato over ice, which wasn't on their menu, but when I asked they happily said 'of course'.Seems like I'm going to have to sign up for their points system because I can tell I'm going to be back here a whole lot more.I'm particularly interested in sampling their beans, just wish i didn't have to buy an entire bag of beans. Why don't these local roasters sell sample packs, allowing you to still purchase a pound of beans, but separated into small batches with samples of each bean type? This would allow me to quickly figure out which bean I want to try without having to buy a single large bag and take a month to go through coffee I don't really like before trying the next type . . . Or maybe i should start roasting my own beans and do this method . . .Anyways, I really like the space they have, they've really made the most of it, very cozy and inviting.Can't wait to go back“

“I love it here. They space is very inviting. Colorful art, cozy pillows and an open layout with warm lighting make it a nice, relaxing space to people watch or work remotely. The owners have also created a space for the youngest customers where they can feel most comfortable. The staff is very kind.“

“Very nice people with very good vegan.food. We got there vegan version of a Philly Cheesesteak and a Blt and being from philly this could be blasphemous but it was very tasty and much better then some steak sandwiches i had in philly. We both enjoyed them very much and they give you a side Mac and cheese or potatoes salad and kale with a really tasty vinagarette. Very enjoyable dinner. Just no there is no dining inside so we took it to go.“

And Murk cooks up delicious food where every dish is perfect. We ordered the Cezanne's Breakfast, Western Omelet & Italian Omelet. All were cooked with care. There were no burnt spots, the bread was fresh, and the bacon was crispy and soft. Had to get the Nutella Pancakes, which were so fluffy and did not disappoint. All went well with their freshly squeezed orange juice and Turkish coffee. Can't wait to go back.“

Everyone is just so nice and willing to help/answer any questions you have. The bakery is very relaxing so you could definitely get some work done if that's your cup of tea. The only negative I must comment on is that their sandwiches sit under a heated lamp so their bagels can get a bit soggy. “We hired Custodi to cater our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We had them provide a buffer appetizer/cocktail hour, as well as coffee and tea service during dessert. We live in Oregon and got married in New Jersey, but Chris made the long distance communication and logistics a breeze. Day of, he sent a great team, and they were able to navigate the day smoothly, and make it ever the more easier for my husband and I to just enjoy our day and not be asked a thousand questions. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the hospitality is top notch. We showed up with our toddler and dog (not a service animal), and the staff were SO KIND AND HELPFUL in offering and then setting up a table for us to eat outside, even though no other tables were outside.
