“Dropped by on a Monday for lunch. Place is not short on choices. A deli and sushi place, what can go wrong. I walked out with two poke bowls, chips, chocolates and stuff. Poke bowls were perfect, a delicious lunch that hit the spot being fresh and healthy to balance the kettle chips. Lol.“

“Awesome italian deli with great bread and sandwhiches. They also have a small hot table w prepared foods and a small section of imported Italian goods and mets memorabilia. They own the bakery next door and I saw someone who ordered some amazing looking french toast and bacon egg n cheese on foccacia. They have a garden patio with seating and a fountain that you can sit at and enjoy. The garden area reminds me of my grandparents and elderly relatives. Love how the painted mural has the Bari mentioned.“

“Fillmore Deli and Backroom is a pretty solid neighborhood spot with a surprising mix of options. The Korean fried chicken is actually really good crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. They also have a large variety of sandwiches, so there’s something for whatever mood you’re in.

One thing that always throws me off though is they tend to run out of the tuna pretty often, which is strange for a deli. But besides that, everything else seems to be okay. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite and the food usually hits the spot.“

“My son and I went here after I did my research to find the best delis in Hell’s Kitchen, and this was consistently the top answer. “This place has been around for as long as I can remember. I vaguely remember them being in a different location though.....on the corner adjacent to them.....where CVS is now (they expanded that space. The place is small with no tables. There's just a couple of stools by the window. We always order delivery though. Family run by husband, wife and son. They are all very nice and delivery is always within 30 minutes. I've tried a bunch of things from there. Egg sandwiches, cold cut sandwiches, BLTs, burgers, pasta salad, fries etc. I haven't disliked anything. Their fries are a must get! Not sure why they're so good, but they are. As for the pricing, everything is under $10 which is great! Definitely check them out!“

“Burger Baby by Wonder absolutely exceeded my expectations! I had the truffle burger, and it was incredible perfectly cooked, so juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Wonder also has cookies that were just as amazing. My son absolutely loved them and couldn’t stop talking about how good they were. It’s definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

“So on the outside, this place is not so easy on the eyes. It looks like a halfway shut down makeshift deli. When you enter, there is a narrow pathway to the register but a very big sandwich making area with alot of choices and premium meats. I was super hesitant but with limited time decided to give it a chance, I ordered the godfather on a hero. It was the best sandwich I ever had! They even presented it in premium boars head paper with the boars head sticker! The prices were excellent! Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed!“

“I have ordered catering and individual meals from Stage Star. All tasty with good portions for the price. Emphasis on good price especially for midtown. The employees who work the counters, especially the cashiers, are warm and welcoming and recall familiar faces. I love this deli. Such quality!“

“Nothing too extensive to say about Clinton Fruit Market. The actual store itself is your quintessential NYC bodega & deli, offering a wide variety of groceries, along with an extensive deli menu (not vegan). What makes them stand out, though, is their partnership with Plantega. They offer the standard 12-item Plantega menu in-store, but you can order from the full menu online through Plantega's ordering site. During my visit, however, the employee working the flattop knew about the vegan options but did have to look at the customer-side menu for the ingredients. As well, I originally tried ordering the Shrimp Po' Boy; however, they were out of the vegan shrimp until a new order arrived. This creates the common problem that I've found at these types of locations: the menu in-store does not seem to be as extensive as the one online, & sometimes you're gambling with the availability. This wouldn't be a problem if the prices online (even when ordering for pickup) weren't $5+ more expensive than the prices advertised in-store. Otherwise, I received a quality sandwich; I got the Cubano, and there was no mix-up with non-vegan ingredients. The flavor was fantastic on the sandwich, and as a little side note, the employee at the register was also very kind.“
